Top Ten TV Shows of 2016 that Should End

The Top Ten
1 Family Guy Family Guy is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centers on the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter (Fat, Idiotic Dad) and Lois (Nagging Bitchy Wife), their children Meg (Socially Awkward Daughter) Chris (Fat, Idiotic Son), and Stewie (Sociopathic and Genuine Infant); and lastly Brian (Anthromorphic Pet Dog). The show is set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island, and exhibits much of its humor in the form of cutaway gags that often American culture. ...read more.

Here's what the current states fo Family Guy and The Simpsons are, The current state of The Simpson is like watching people beating a dead corpse and the current state of Family Guy is like watching a living person continually being painfully torturing

While I do like family guy more than The Simmons I will admit Family Guy is in a FAR worse state than The Simpsons right now

Now it's become nothing more than a device for Seth Macfarlane to try and push his own beliefs and agendas onto people

At this point, they're just finding different ways to tell the same jokes and stories.

2 The Simpsons The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening that originally started on April 19, 1987 as shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show. It got its own series on December 17, 1989 and is still running as of 2023, making it the longest running animated sitcom. It is about a man named Homer Simpson and his family (wife Marge and children Bart, Lisa and Maggie and pets, Snowball II and Santa's Little Helper) going through a long series of misadventures.

NO! The Simpsons should go on forever. If you don't like it, then don't watch it. But the fact remains that the Simpsons, despite it's decline in quality, is still Fox's most watched program on Sundays. I will do everything in my power to keep them going.

At this point the show has burned itself out so much that it's pretty much become a zombie, just kinda sitting there without really moving or breathing and just taking up airtime

You know the simpsons is ending after its 30th season

3 Sanjay and Craig Sanjay and Craig is an American animated comedy television series that aired on Nickelodeon from May 25, 2013, to July 29, 2016, for three seasons and 60 episodes. The series is about a 12-year-old boy named Sanjay Patel who owns a talking pet snake named Craig.

Don't tell me there are still kids actually getting up in the morning just to watch this garbage! Nickelodeon better consider itself lucky that its new show The Loud House is keeping its network alive!

How this is higher than Breadwinners (which is tens of thousands of times worse, as S&C actually cared enough to improve, but Breadwinners kept getting worse) is a real mystery... - Goatworlds

A new episode came on Nickelodeon today...Come on man!

4 Breadwinners Breadwinners is an American animated television series created by Gary "Doodles" DiRaffaele and Steve Borst for Nickelodeon. ...read more.

I think they should really start selling breads

5 Teen Titans Go! 'Teen Titans Go!' is an American animated television series produced by Cartoon Network. The show follows a superhero group called the Teen Titans, and shows what happens when they go home and have silly adventures. This show is Cartoon Network's revival of the popular 2003-2006 American animated television show, 'Teen Titans'.

I grew up when Teen Titans was on Cartoon Network. I was upset when they took it down because I didn't know where to find DVDs and I didn't think my mom could find it back then. So you could imagine how ecstatic I was when I found out they made a parody cartoon of it.

They threw all of my expectations in the trash though. Want to know why? Because they decided that they shouldn't try to make a competent show just because the audience is younger than the target audience of the original and because they thought that focusing everything on humor was a good idea.

Now, I don't mind wacky parodies of series. It's when the show turns everyone into disgustingly obnoxious out of character shells of their former selves that it bothers me. Also the humor isn't even funny. One episode has a running gag that the characters can't stop saying waffles. I feel incredibly sorry for the unfortunate voice actors that had to do this!

I tell you, personally this show was not welcome in ...more

Teen Titans Go Sucks would retire in vain if this show doesn't end

Please do so. It would make TeenTitansGoSucks so happy if Teen Titans Go! got cancelled.

6 South Park South Park is an American adult animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. The show is about four boys, who are Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick, and their adventures in South Park, Colorado.

At first the raunchy and vulgar humor complimented the characters and storytelling well but at this point it seems like it's the only thing the show is relying on to stay alive, most of the episodes are just full of swearing and sex jokes with lazy storylines

I personally think this last season was by far the best one. I don't want this show to end at all.

This show relys on sex jokes, insults to right and left wing people, insults to celebritys, insults to religions and incredibly gory deaths. any questions?

South Park continues to have hilarious episodes even up to 2019. Never cancel it!

7 My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated children's television series based on the fourth incarnation of Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise. The show follows a studious unicorn (later an alicorn) pony named Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong) and her friends Applejack (Ashleigh Ball), Rarity (Tabitha St. Germain), Fluttershy (Andrea Libman), Rainbow Dash (Ball), Pinkie Pie (Libman), and dragon... read more

Let it die, please. I've had enough of Mary-sue sparkle

I prefer the older versions from the 80's and 90's.

8 SpongeBob SquarePants SpongeBob SquarePants is an American animated television series created by marine biologist and animator the late Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. SpongeBob is currently the most popular show on Nickelodeon, as well as the longest running show, running for 23 years, and is beginning its 13th season. The show revolves around a sea sponge called SpongeBob SquarePants and his adventures under the sea. The show is considered to be one of the best Nickelodeon and cartoon shows of all time.

Nobody cares about Spongebob anymore (except MAYBE middle school aged boys). No parent I know lets their children watch Spongebob (parents with children under 13) anymore (and I know lots of parents with children under 13). Nickelodeon is airing Alvin and the Chipmunks more than SpongeBob now, so I am surprised it has not gotten cancelled (as much as I like the show, especially seasons 1-4).

Apparently, there's a new show on Nickelodeon called The Loud House that has quickly grown popular that it had even surpassed SpongeBob SquarePants as the highest-rated program on Nickelodeon in June 2016. I don't want SpongeBob SquarePants to be cancelled, but if it's going to be ended, let it end with an epic finale. Make it something like Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show.

People who put SpongeBob SquarePants on a list "Shows that should be Cancelled", this is all just an opinion. This show won't be cancelled for that long, you need to wait.
(not trying to be rude, I'm just saying that this opinion has just gone way too far)

Let the show die with some dignity Nick, you money hungry life support system.

9 The Powerpuff Girls The Powerpuff Girls is an American animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network. The main characters of this show are Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. The show is about the Professor Utonium creating three little superhero girls that save the day from villains. This show has an anime spinoff made in Japan, three specials, a movie in theatres, and a reboot. The show aired from 1998 to 2005.

This is the THIRD time Cartoon Network has made a crappy reboot of a beloved Cartoon Network animated series since Teen Titans and the Scooby-Doo franchise. That's one reason Nickelodeon is better than Cartoon Network. At least Nickelodeon's 2012 reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was pretty good. All of Cartoon Network's reboots? They all suck!

The reason why nickelodeon is better than cartoon network nickelodeon made teenage mutant ninja turtles outstanding but there is no good cartoon network reboot also uncle grandpa and clarence and all the reboots including ben 10 2016, this one, be cool scooby doo, wabbit, sonic boom, teen titans go, are the only bad shows of cartoon network

This show is such a rip-off to the older version

10 The Fairly OddParents The Fairly OddParents is an American animated television series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon.

They recently added a ten year old girl to the series for Timmy to share his fairies with. This is the THIRD TIME they've added a new character to artificially extend the shows lifespan.

I barely even pay attention to the new seasons of this show anymore. At least SpongeBob SquarePants is becoming better again since Season 9.

At this point they're just pulling new characters out of their ass to keep the show going

I don't think they should have added the new girl to the show...

The Contenders
11 Uncle Grandpa Uncle Grandpa is an American animated television series created by Peter Browngardt for Cartoon Network that premiered on the network on September 2, 2013. The series is based on Browngardt's animated short of the same name from The Cartoonstitute.

Come on, Cartoon Network! You ended The Problem Solverz and Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, and I'm thankful for that! Now I would be more thankful if you would just end Uncle Grandpa!

Guys, give the show mercy! It's not as bad as you think.

I hope the show's popularity dies down soon so that Ed, Edd n Eddy can remain as Cartoon Network's longest-running animated series.

Please for the love of **** kill this show off its drives me insane on how it's litteraly offensive to me because the Teen Titans ended with 5 seasons while CN has its 5 season rule this show still has 6 seasons what?!

It's ending in 2018 on creator's terms

16 The Big Bang Theory The Big Bang Theory is an American sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom serve as executive producers on the series, along with Steven Molaro, and also some wasted guest stars from time to time.

Last series was bad. Terrible final episode with no cliffhanger.

Wasn't good to begin with and terrible now.

On March 19, 2018, Jace confirmed in an interview with Extra that the series was picked up for a fifth season making it the first Nickelodean show to go past 109 Episodes. He also said that season 5 will most likely be the last season.

I want Nickelodeon to finally take this trash to the garbage. It's only popular because all these 11 year old girls have a crush on Jace Norman..

19 American Dad American Dad! is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker, and Matt Weitzman for the Fox Broadcasting Company and currently on TBS. American Dad! is the first television series made to premiere on the network's Animation Domination block. It is the second television series to be based on The Lion King, the first being "Timon & Pumbaa" (1995–1999). The Lion Guard is a sequel to The Lion King and takes place during the time-gap within the 1998 sequel film, "The Lion King II: Simba's Pride". The series ended its run on November 3, 2019, after 3 seasons.

This show, along with The Lion King as a whole, just sucks and would be better off forgotten and destroyed instead of being given the wrong label as "an immortal, timeless classic that must be passed onto generations".

I love the lion guard

Make Nickelodeon great again.

Wow, I can't believe I even used to like this show. I liked them in the Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 party video game, but when it comes to making a show about them, it just doesn't work out.

First of all, they want to conquer the moon... They also do stupid things and get hurt.

25 Dora and Friends: Into The City Dora and Friends: Into the City! is an American CGI interactive educational animated television series.
