My seventeen year old self today hears people in school talk about this show and I honestly watch it if it's on don't hate this show pretty much got me threw life

The first 3 seasons are timeless, the rest are, for the most part, just kind of forgettable.

Who knew a talking sponge would stay on television for so long.

Unfortunately, it's nowhere near as good as it once was.

2 South Park South Park is an American adult animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. The show is about four boys, who are Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick, and their adventures in South Park, Colorado.

Insulting people for over a decade and making the others who get it's a joke laugh for years. Especially, making me laugh that people still watch it.

It got its own series on December 17, 1989 and is still running as of 2023, making it the longest running animated sitcom. It is about a man named Homer Simpson and his family (wife Marge and children Bart, Lisa and Maggie and pets, Snowball II and Santa's Little Helper) going through a long series of misadventures.

Is it still going on? Gosh dang it! I wish the Simpsons would just die already so that we can talk about how much of an impact it's had on us.

Will it ever end? Will the kids ever grow up?

It's said to last until 2082!

Like another show on this list it got cancelled a few times and survived Fox.

5 Futurama Futurama is an American animated science fiction sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company.

It may have been cancelled for the second third time? But, this show survived being cancelled and 4 years of Fox then ran for 14 years and channel change, and is apparently considered a cult classic.

I love this show but it took 8 years to meet the mother and had some loyal fans who stuck along with it. But, this spring will be it's finale.

How I Met Your Mother is here but friends isn't?! How I Met your mother is just a cheap copy of friends.

7 Dora the Explorer Dora the Explorer (2000 - 2019) is an American preschool educational animated TV series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner in which Dora goes on adventures with her friend, a monkey named Boots.

Even though it was cancelled many decades ago there is still channels that play it frequently.

10 The Twilight Zone The Twilight Zone is an American anthology television series created and presented by Rod Serling, which ran for five seasons on CBS from 1959 to 1964. Each episode presents a stand-alone story in which characters find themselves dealing with often disturbing or unusual events, an experience described as entering "the Twilight Zone," often ending with a surprise ending and a moral.

The most intelligent and introspective T.V. series ever, in my opinion.

The Contenders

The series centers on the surreal life of an anthropomorphic Australian-immigrant wallaby named Rocko as well as his friends: the gluttonous steer Heffer, the neurotic turtle Filburt, and Rocko's faithful dog Spunky.

It actually IMPROVES with age.

The Doctor explores the universe in a time-travelling space ship called the TARDIS. I mean, this show is the longest running sci-fi series ever, with it recently celebrating its 50 year anniversary and it's still running and immensely popular! If this doesn't prove it stood the Test of Time, nothing does.
