This is a list on each of the 50 State's State Capitol Buildings.
The Top Ten
1AlaskaAlaska is a U.S. state situated in the northwest extremity of the Americas. The Canadian administrative divisions of British Columbia and Yukon border the state to the east; it has a maritime border with Russia to the west across the Bering Strait.
It looks like just some generic building sitting on the street. There's nothing special about it at all.
Basically just your average office building in a city that you can't get to by car.
2North DakotaNorth Dakota is the 39th state of the United States, having been admitted to the union on November 2, 1889.
A SUPER cliche skyscraper that would fit into a place like NYC or LA.
I'm not including the old one. The old one was the best but the new one is awful.
Same as North Dakota but 10x less worse.
5NebraskaNebraska is a state that lies in both the Great Plains and the Midwestern United States. Its state capital is Lincoln.
Again, same as Louisiana's, North Dakota's, and Florida's.
6HawaiiHawaii is the 50th and most recent state of the United States of America, receiving statehood on August 21, 1959.
It totally fits in with the whole beachy architecture but not fit for a State Capitol.
Just an average suburban megachurch gone Government.
8OregonOregon is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Oregon is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean, on the north by Washington, on the south by California, on the east by Idaho, and on the southeast by Nevada.
It's up for a dome but it only has a little statue or something on the top.
9OhioOhio is a state in the midwestern region of the United States. Ohio is the 34th largest by area, the 7th most populous, and the 10th most densely populated of the 50 United States.
Same as Oregon but just has a giant pole going through the top...
10IllinoisIllinois is a state in the midwestern region of the United States. It is the 5th most populous state and 25th largest state in terms of land area, and is often noted as a microcosm of the entire country.
If Springfield is not the ugliest state capitol, I don't want to see the winner.
11North CarolinaNorth Carolina is a state in the southeastern region of the United States. The state borders South Carolina and Georgia to the south, Tennessee to the west, Virginia to the north, and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.
This one was EXTREMELY tough to add. It was a tie between North Carolina and this one.
This, by far, is a train wreck and BY FAR THE WORST STATE CAPITAL!
13TennesseeTennessee is a state located in the southeastern United States. Tennessee is the 36th largest and the 17th most populous of the 50 United States.
