Best Ultra Beasts from Pokemon Sun and Moon

Metallicafan01
(There are only 7 Ultra Beasts, so this can't be a top ten. Also, Necrozma isn't an Ultra Beast) The Ultra Beasts were a great addition to the Pokemon Franchise. They bridged the gap between Pseudo Legendaries and Legendaries, however most of the Ultra Beasts are stronger than some Legendaries anyway. These are in my opinion the best to worst, but keep in mind that all are very powerful, but some are better than others. Feel free to vote to make the list better.

The Top Ten

1 Xurkitree Xurkitree Xurkitree is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by the code name UB-03 Lighting.

The ultimate in sweeping. Its insane special attack combined with discharge/thunderbolt and tail glow will overpower everything. Don't know what they were - Metallicafan01

2 Kartana Kartana Kartana is a dual-type Grass/Steel Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by the code name UB-04 Blade.

Basically the attack version of Xurkitree, not much more to say. Its typing gives it a lot of weeknesses compared to Xurkitree's, however. And its moves aren't as good either. Its still a very reasonable choice to use it, and the only one capable of placing Xurkitree as a sweeper - Metallicafan01

3 Pheromosa Pheromosa Pheromosa is a dual-type Bug/Fighting Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by the code name UB-02 Beauty.

Very very very fast, and an extremely decent attack stat too. Only weakness is hp and defense/special defense. But when you outspeed everything, and basically one hit them all the time, what is defense? - Metallicafan01

4 Guzzlord Guzzlord Guzzlord is a dual-type Dark/Dragon Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by the code name UB-05 Glutton.

This Pokemon is a tank. A great variety of moves, decent attack, average defensive stats, lacks speed, but wow, its hp is 3rd highest out of all Pokemon, only to be beaten by Chansey and Blissey, but who would you prefer, a normal type or a Pokemon that eats mountains? - Metallicafan01

5 Buzzwole Buzzwole Buzzwole is a dual-type Bug/Fighting Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by the code name UB-02 Absorption.

Nothing to special, just an all rounder. Think of it as an evolution to Heracross. - Metallicafan01

6 Celesteela Celesteela Celesteela is a dual-type Steel/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by the code name UB-04 Blaster.

Probably the weakest Ultra Beast. Its still strong, but I can't see any reason to use it. However, I don't use it much at all, so I don't know too much about it. If its strong, write about it in the comments. - Metallicafan01

It is so good

She's the only ultra beast to have both good defense AND sp. Defense.
An all-rounder for sure!

7 Nihilego Nihilego Nihilego is a dual-type Rock/Poison Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by code name UB-01 Symbiont.

Stat wise, there isn't much that stands out, but its got unique typing and a good moves. Not much stuff I can recommend to use with this Pokemon, just really to cover other pokemon's weaknesses. - Metallicafan01

8 Rattata Rattata
