Top Ten Underground Rappers of 2013

The Top Ten
1 Hopsin Marcus Jamal Hopson, better known by his stage name Hopsin, is an American rapper, record producer, director and actor from Los Angeles, California. Hopsin was born on July 18, 1985. His first album was called Emurge but he's best known for his album titled Raw.

After hearing Knock Madness, I'm not afraid to say that Hopsin is the best out there right now. The only reason why he's not bigger is because of his unique style, it's too dark for the mainstream. I love how he's self made (Writes his own music, produces his own music, directs his own videos, and owns his record company) and how confident he is. Confident enough to call out all the biggest names (Kendrick, Kanye, Tyler, Wayne, Rick Ross, and even Obama).

If you haven't heard Hopsin yet, really pay attention to his lyrics and give him a chance.

Kendrick isn't underground,Hopsin dissed kendrick no answer, dissed lil wayne no answer, dissed rick ross no answer, dissed drake, no answer he is the definition of a god and eminem used to be the king of the underground regardless king now is hopsin

He's rising from underground, knock madness is such a cool album especially the beats

Hopsin deserves to be #1, he's much better then everyone on this whole list.

2 Kendrick Lamar Kendrick Lamar Duckworth (born June 17, 1987) is an American rapper and songwriter. Raised in Compton, California, Lamar embarked on his musical career as a teenager under the stage name K-Dot, releasing a mixtape that garnered local attention and led to his signing with indie record label Top Dawg ...read more.

He isn't undergroud, he doesn't suck like most mainstream, but he isn't underground. Just like Eminem, ice cube, snoop dogg, and nas aren't underground, its mainstream but the rare good kind. In my opinion, the best rappers are mainstream they are just rare. There are some underground rappers that are good, like Big KRIT, tech9 etc. but I've never seen an underground rapper as passionate as tupac, as unique as snoop dogg (the old snoop dogg), or as crazy as Eminem. by the way Big KRIT is the best underground rapper of 2013

Kendrick is the king and I would not consider him underground... if you're looking for an underground rapper that's going to explode in the next couple years look up this man... Myke Bogan... Remember the name that man can spit.

The future of rap. I expect a lot of great things in the future from uncle Kendrick.

Kendrick Lamar is definitely bringing hip hop back!

3 Tyler, The Creator Tyler Gregory Okonma (born March 6, 1991), better known by his stage name Tyler, The Creator, is an American rapper, record producer, and music video director. He is well known for his hostile relations with his now deceased father, whom he addresses in multiple songs and albums telling the audience how much he distastes his father. Tyler has composed seven albums, which are Bastard (2009), Goblin (2011), Wolf (2013), Cherry Bomb (2015), Flower Boy (2017), IGOR (2019), and Call Me If You Get Lost (2021).

He has his own unique style that really makes him great. He's not only a funny rapper, but also has a great use of play on words. Domo23 and She feat Frank Ocean are great songs check them out

I love him. Not only his music is great but he's also a really funny guy.

Tyler is going to shake the rap game for a minuete but doesn't mean he wont do al lot of damage
