More like underrated, or overhated
Sticker Star tends to be one of the most hated Mario games in general, and rightfully so. While Color Splash is a marginal improvement, it barely addresses any of the flaws of Sticker Star and repeats many of the same mistakes. The vast majority of NPCs are forgettable toads, unlike the diverse cast from PM64 and TTYD. The card/sticker based combat system makes combat unrewarding, as there's no leveling incentive, effectively rewarding players for skipping most fights. The story is bland and Huey is just forgettable, which is not good since he is the only companion yet again. While Sticker Star has more convoluted puzzles and limitations of the 3DS, Color Splash isn't much better.
I already hated sticker star, but this crap ain't any better 2/10
Literally not, I'd say it's one of the BEST of all time

No, I think OVERhated and underRATED suits it better
Honestly, this game is mainly good for the laughable cutscenes and nostalgia factor.
Mario Party 10 often gets the most hate for being the worst in the mainline series, though 9 doesn't usually get mentioned enough for breaking the traditional formula and replacing it with the cart gameplay both 9 and 10 are known for. I can give this game credit for having substantially better graphics than Mario Party 8, and if not for the 480p resolution, it could pass off as a Wii U game. But apart from that, 9 was absolutely a step backwards for the series, and the more commonly hated 10 wouldn't exist without it. Apart from setting a poor precedent, this game isn't that memorable either, and suffers from many of the same flaws as 10.
