Agreed. Awful controls ruin an already mediocre game at its core. Why are other Sonic games like 06 and Shadow The Hedgehog hated more than this one? At least those were somewhat playable.
Maybe if people hadn't already aimed their shots at Sonic 06 they'd look at this game for the piece of crap it really is.

Actually it's overhated, all I can hear is "roblox sucks", "Roblox is bad, "Roblox is trash" without knowing what Roblox actually is, also Roblox isn't technically a game, it''s a collection of games and you can make a Roblox game, I'm not a supporter of something but it's actually overhated as I find roblox haters than fans, also this reminds me of China somehow (overhated, more haters than fans, people accusing it of overhyped.)

I'm so sick of the common defense of "Just because a game's hard doesn't make it bad. You just suck at the game".
1. The game doesn't suck because it's hard, it's hard because it sucks.
2. The main source of difficulty is due to arbitrary level gimmicks, lack of checkpoints, slippery controls and other design elements that make this game more frustrating than fun.
