3 David Bowie David Robert Jones, known professionally as David Bowie (January 8, 1947 - January 10, 2016) was an English singer born in London, the son of a fundraiser and a waitress. More than half of their albums have gone gold or platinum, as certified by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America).

My dad adores this band and used to play their songs when he was young and in a band of his own. He has great taste in music, and since I don't hear much talk about Rush, I'm gonna assume they're pretty underrated. Wasn't alive in the 80s.
