Top 10 Underrated Animated Movies of the 2000s

The Top Ten

1 Atlantis: The Lost Empire

It is ankoledged on Youtube by BCG, very little people like this movie and an even smaller number think it is one of Disney's best movie. Why? Disney overlooked their own material which is sad and I love this movie.

2 Corpse Bride

An underrated Burton film, Corpse Bride tells the story of a man who gets in grave misunderstanding. In fact when praticising he praticses with an Corpse and therefore an love triangle occurs meaning Victor is in a bad situation.

3 Horton Hears a Who

A really good Blue Sky movie, Dr Seuss Horton Hears a Who is a really enjoyable film starring Horton an elephant who believe a speck has an entire village. Leading kids to run away with imigination. Kangaroo tries to stop Horton with a Vulture as Horton tries to the speck safe.

The only good Dr. Seuss film.

4 Surf's Up

This is one the most underrated of its era because it was clever and imaginative and I did really enioy Surfs Up (more so than Happy Feet) I thought on their own Sony made their best film but made the sequel which was a piece of garbage as expected.

5 Mary & Max

A downright sad animated film, Mary & Max tells us the story of penpals. It tackles Austism, depression and provety. It is an adult movie and I cried for a moment of this movie and I fell in love with it and wish it did lots better and did better than something like Shrek 3.

6 The Road to el Dorado
7 Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker

A very good batman movie not as good as phantasm but a really good one nonetheless.

8 Titan A.E.
9 Ratatouille

Critics phrase it, but why is it here, I here you ask? Well, people still remember Cars and Nemo, but overlook Remy. This teaches a brillant message about prejudice and that anyone can cook it is touching and definitely a very good Pixar movie.

10 The Ant Bully

The Contenders

11 The Wild

The Wild was competing with Madagascar and you know what? I LIKED it. Yeah I did! Jokes can actually be hilarious and very clever. Yeah, I know some are terrible but the story is kinda silimiar and Disney or Dreamworks ripoffed one another again but as a cash grab goes a like it.

12 Bolt

This is the best disney movie ever it is my childhood

Bolt is Disney's start of rejuvanting their company and competing with Pixar and Studio Ghibli. Bolt is in my eyes funny and well cute in a sense. I really enjoyed and I would still give a rewatch often.

13 Valiant
14 9 (2009)
15 Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron

A very good movie by Dreamworks this got overlooked by not much movies but animated movies did not do great in 2002 except from Ice Age. It is underrated for a strange reason and honestly, why? It is nice that animal don't talk that much which is impressive and beats Dinosaur at that.

16 Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
17 Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
18 Brother Bear

This tells us the touching story of Kanine about revenge and eventually it turns into a bear due to his brother dying because of a bear he is not happy about it well, at all really. It is touching and the start is amazing. And I mean that by every word. It had American Culture that I thought Pocahontas would be like and the ending is good but the middle is average.

19 The Princess and the Frog

I really enjoyed this movie but people have picked up on it on YouTube but still a very underrated movie.

20 Howl's Moving Castle

Do NOT talk dirty about Howl's Moving Castle or Studio Ghibli general ya AniMat haters who are just jealous that THEY can't bring magic to life. It is insane that people are happy that Shark Tale won the Oscars for "Best Animated Feature of 2004" rather than Howl's Moving Castle, The Incredibles, Shrek 2 or even The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.

21 Dinosaur
