No. Hinata is the most overrated character in the 'Naruto' series. She's only loved more because of her 'looks' and 'personality,' even though she doesn't get that much screen time. The "fans" just seem too hooked up on a fictional character. Throughout the anime, she's been protected and loved for doing, what? So don't you dare say she's "underrated."

She does lack self-confidence at first, but after losing her fight against Neji, she does grow braver and stronger as time goes on. That should count for something. Hinata deserves more love and recognition.

I hope no one voted just comment on how bad the characters are... I haven't watched the Naruto series, but I have heard that she is a great character.

The most well-rounded One Piece character. The best cook, part of the monster trio, martial art pro, can create flames, quick-thinker, extremely fast, can swim faster than any human being, can fly... yet some people say he's much weaker than some guy whose only talent/use is to slash people. Yeah sure...

When you think that not too long ago, many people underestimated Sanji because he hadn't had big fights and thought Jinbe would replace Sanji in the monster trio lmao Oda shattered this nonsense pretty quickly, even before his power up he could hold his own against two commanders at the same time just like Marco did.

Sanji is so much stronger than many people say he is.

No matter how strong he gets he's alway seems completely out matched by Goku and Picoloo but despite the fact that he's not as strong as them he continues to fight for his friends even with the odds stacked against them.

He's underted for a reason. every time he gets stronger it doesn't really matter cause he still gets the crap beat out of him and can never win a fight. he doesn't really do anything important. his only contribution to the show was him dying and getting goku to super saiyan. other than that he is pretty insignificant.

I like krillin. Even though he is far from the strongest fighter, he’s a good friend to goku & gohan, & always did what he could to help out. At least he isn’t like Yamaha & gets scared for no reason & is completely useless. And the other z fighter have the same problem as krillin as they get stronger but just can do nothing to aid the fight & has to watch goku/gohan do it all.

Yes, I believe that Sakura is an underrated character. Throughout the series, she has been compared and hated by most of the "fans." Sakura needs more praise and love. If Sakura didn't exist, then most of YOUR favorite characters would've died. Plus, can we consider the fact that she didn't come from a powerful clan, doesn't have a kekkei genkai so this proves that she had to work hard to be the woman she is in 'Boruto.'

The majority of people who hate on Sakura are ignorant. As an adult, she is one of the strongest females in the series. People never consider the fact that she isn't from any special clan, and both her parents are low-rank shinobi. She has surpassed so many of her classmates who are from noble clans and have Jonin level parents as mentors.

So many of the "fans" spit on Sakura that it isn't even funny. They ignore all of the good things she's done and give Hinata all of the credit for things SHE'S done. If it wasn't for Sakura, more than half of the main characters would be dead.

Sure in naruto she deserved all the hate,but in shippuden she changed and deserved good rating but people don't realize that.And mostly she is hated because the idiotic studion Perrott always bashes her and makes her a bad character in the fillers

Despite her being held captive, she showed little fear. She fears only for Ichigo and her friends lives not her own. Plus on a side note I've always thought, if she can reject and recreate matter in healing, could she reject matter as well? Could she potentially destroy things? Her healing abilities have been compared to a gods after all.

People call her 'weak' when she defeated an Espada herself and has one of the most powerful bankai..

Don't get me wrong there are definitely a lot of people in the show more powerful than her even Lucy herself knows this, but she was able to summon the celestial spirit King which requires you to be able to summon at least 3 zodiac spirits which even the most experienced of celestial wizards almost never pull off, and this was when she had to fight the entire tartaros guild by herself.

Might I mention this happened before everyone did one year of training.

Lucy's the most underrated Fairy Tail character... and she would be in the top ten, if talking about all animes. Oh my god, she's just so UNDERRATED. People always praise Erza to take Lucy down, which I really hate. All Erza has to survive and defeat enemies is plot armour (created by Hiro Mashima). Without him, she would just die quickly. One more thing, Hiro never let Lucy fight and beat enemies by self, which just takes her down more and make people underrate her.

I like Lucy. She has good character. People think that she is weak but she isn't weak because she became stronger in later manga series. Even if she is weak she has a good character. People being weak isn't their mistake. Lucy is really underrated. In fact I love every fairytail girl including LUCY.

I swear Lucy is one of my favorite characters, and I have MANY, it's sometimes sad that her strength sometimes can be disappointing.
