1 Brian Jones (The Rolling Stones) Lewis Brian Hopkin Jones was an English musician, the founder and the original leader of the Rolling Stones.

Brian Jones was the person who started the Rolling Stones. The band was his, but Mick Jagger and Keith Richards continuously get the recognition, respect and credit he deserves.

2 Krist Novoselic (Nirvana) Nirvana's bassist for the entirety of their lifespan before the group was disbanded in 1994. Nowadays, Krist is a humanitarian and a human rights activist.
3 Richard Wright (Pink Floyd) Richard William "Rick" Wright was an English musician, composer, singer and songwriter. He was the main keyboardist and a backup vocalist for the psychedelic and progressive English rock band, Pink Floyd .

Totally underappreciated, not only for his keyboard playing and textures but his lead vocals and backing vocals on many great Floyd tunes not to mention his songwriting input.

4 Steven Adler (Guns N' Roses) Steven Adler is an American musician. He is best known as the former drummer and co-songwriter of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s.
5 John Deacon (Queen) John Richard Deacon (born 19th of August 1951) is a retired English musician, who is best known as the bassist for the rock band Queen.

John has some serous talent, I think one of the reasons he was so unnoticed is because of how quite he is. May, Taylor and mercury all stuck out like sore thumbs because because of how flashy they were, Deacon just sort of faded into the background at some point.

One of the best bass-player, wrote iconic and timeless bass-riffs, like Another one bites the dust and Under pressure.

Definitely underrated. Wrote some of Queen's greatest songs and had many iconic basslines.

Virtuoso bassist, very underrated.

Definitely my favorite member of Led Zeppelin, but he isn't underrated. In fact, he's one of the most praised drummers of all time!

Great drummer, one of my all time favourites. His drumming in Stairway to Heaven is sensational. Rest in Peace.

How is this guy underrated? He's the greatest drummer of all time!

Okay everybody knows that he is a legend, he's amazing and not underrated OK?

7 Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys)

Criminally underrated drummer. One of the best I've ever heard.

8 Mick Taylor (The Rolling Stones) Michael Kevin Taylor is an English musician, best known as a former member of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and the Rolling Stones.

The best guitarist in the world.

9 Clem Burke (Blondie)

Debbie is iconic and all but I wish Clem would get more attention. He's an excellent drummer you need to hear Blondie's Dreaming and you'll know what I'm talking about!

11 Syd Barrett (Pink Floyd) Roger Keith Barrett was an English musician, composer, singer, songwriter, and painter. Best known as a founder member of the band Pink Floyd, Barrett was the lead singer, guitarist and principal songwriter in its early years and is credited with naming the band.

People only remember him for his mental breakdown, not his supreme guitar skills or beautiful lyrics.

12 Johnny Christ (Avenged Sevenfold) Jonathan Lewis Seward, known as Johnny Christ, is the bassist of the American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold. Seward is the fourth bassist to join Avenged Sevenfold in 2003, replacing former member Dameon Ash.
13 Nick Mason (Pink Floyd) Nicholas Berkeley "Nick" Mason is an English musician and composer, best known as the drummer of legendary rock band Pink Floyd.
