Most Underrated Bob Dylan Songs
It's pretty well known to be honest, especially among Dylan fans.
I agree, Bob Dylan's version is very underrated. I prefer it to Jimi Hendrix's, but that's just me.
Maybe his best song. his voice fits with the lyrics and anyone who dislikes this shouldn't love anyone then
I think lots of people know it more for the Byrds version (I heard it from them first). I do like Dylan's version, though; it feels more folky, which is a good change.
It's great, but not underrated. It's on a lot of Greatest Hits Compilations and that's not being underrated
Dylan may be the Best at making different versions of his own songs - slow, fast, different sounds and instruments as well as vocal inflection. I prefer the original release of this one from Empire Burlesque (an underrated album) but the iTunes link here takes you to another strong and interesting version.
This is actually one of my favorites from Blonde on Blonde. I love the melody and how big the chorus feels.
Criminally under-rated. One of his finest in my opinion.
He was such a prolific writer and often overly meticulous in the studio. This gem was left off of Desire, not because he didn't like it but because he felt the other songs fit more cohesively. I think it was a mistake.
Not really underrated. its pretty widely reconized as one of bobs best songs
Underrated song, underrated album. street legal is his best album. nothing against blonde on blonde or blood on the tracks, those are masterpieces. but this album has every track that really makes you wonder about life. this song is #1 on this album. empire burlesque is also very underrated
Again, I refer all to the version from Bob Dylan's 30th Anniversary Concert with George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Roger McGuinn, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan all playing guitars and sharing lead vocals and harmonies, with excellent back up musicians!
Such an underrated album “Another Side of...” and this is the highlight. Dylan at the peak of his lyrical genius and also his voice is arguably the strongest it can be on this album. Passionate, deep, loud, whiny but pure Dylan
