Most Underrated Disney Songsfullymetal The best Disney songs that not many people have heard! Or that people have forgotten. So, I don't mean "Colors of the Wind" or "A Whole New World," even though I love those songs. No "Let it Go" either, although I like it too. Usually, you can check if it's underrated/not known well by its views on YouTube.
The Top Ten
It's really easy to find good covers of most Disney songs but this one is really hard to find as it is not so popular. Yet it is my favourite all time Disney song.
This Disney song is so catchy but it's so underrated. I love this song!
I love this song, I listen to it all the time!

Love when the guy goes high at the very end of the movie. He hits the note perfectly. - fullymetal
Who is the monster and who is the man, sing the bells, bells, bells, bells, BELLS OF NOTRE DAME! - silenthill
It's always low on top 10 lists and princess' song videos. I think it's a really good song, and I'm a guy. Everyone remembers "Be Our Guest" and "Beauty and the Beast" but not this. - fullymetal
This is a great song, especially the reprise
My favourite Disney song
Everyone knows "Friend Like Me" and "A Whole New World," but the beginning song is always forgotten. I think this song is pretty funny. - fullymetal
Fun song, truly underrated
At fan conventions, you can't go two hours without hearing this somewhere either from people's music players or people singing it loudly en masse. Nearly 99.999% of the world claims this is the greatest Disney song ever.
Tell me again how this song is "underrated".
Why is this number 1? People were singing this all over the place and still are; it's actually more annoying that "Let It Go".
"Did they send me daughters when I asked for sons" makes this a very sexist song and really challenges the whole idea of "Mulan" being such a great feminist movie. Not a good thing.
Uhm number 5? seriously? this is like one of the most popular Disney songs - cassiabezV 5 Comments
Love this song!
Everybody vote for this
This song is powerful. The only reason I put it so low on the list is because I can't tell if its underrated. The people that know it love it. But there are many people who haven't watched Hunchback of Notre Dame. - fullymetal
Really? This? Underrated? Are you joking? This is considered by many to be Disney's best villain song, and among Disney's best songs overall to some.
Fantastic animation and voice work. Deserves higher placement. Probably down this low because the sample music given is incorrect.
This song is so bad, why do you think its underrated?! The tune is horrible, the singer doesn't sing, he growls, and the animation isn't good either. Not to mention the ghastly lyrics. Ugh.
This song needs more attention, it's cute.
Love this song!
A lot of other disney fans don't like the sequels, but I think Lion King 2 actually wasn't bad. The soundtrack is pretty good, but no one's heard of this or "My Lullaby." - fullymetal
As was already said, this song is from the original "The Rescuers" not "Down Under". And it also is incredibly beautiful both in English and my native language (Brazilian Portuguese).
This was actually from the original, not "Down Under"
Yes, everyone knows "When She Loved Me" and of course "You've Got a Friend In Me" but forgets all the others including this one.
Remember the movie...Love the movie...Love Randy
An amazing and powerful song that I love listening to but it is a shame most people have no idea what I am singing when I do even people who have watched the movie sometimes don't recognize the song
Similar to "Be Prepared." (We'll be prepared! For what? For the death of a king!... :D) - fullymetal
YOU CALL THIS A LULLABY?!?! - IcyMuffin99
I don't think anybody really likes this song. They just love "Mulan" that much and put every song from it on this list.
I actually think this is the best song in a really good movie with a second tier batch of songs. Its style is most indicative of its cultural context and it has the most layered and interesting arrangement of any song on the soundtrack.
Great swing. DEFINITELY UNDERRATED
'I own about five different versions of this song, that's how catchy it is'
Best song of the movie after Out There
Underrated song from an underrated movie and one of my favorites. Second to Scales and Arpeggios. - BeanBag343
One of two incedibly sexist songs in what everyone worships as Disney's most feminist movie, the other being the also not-underrated (quite OVERRATED actually) "I'll Make a Man Out of You"
No one remembers this song, but I think it's awesome. - fullymetal
It is such a good song yet no one knows about it
It is from the adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad which isn't a very well known film but definitely listen to this it is so good
Check out the version recorded by Thurl Ravenscroft which is far superior to the one by Bing Crosby used in the movie.
Worst song in the movie. It deserves its rating right where it is.
It's so underrated people don't even know it's a real Disney song so beautiful.
Such an emotional song, anything by Phil Collins is a winner
This song is so good - LionLink
Best song ever it makes me cry
Performed by Avril Lavigne
