Most Underrated Guitarists of 2014

The Top Ten
1 Jacky Vincent (Falling In Reverse)

You can tell he's a real technical player just by his soloing style. Deserves way more credit than he gets.

2 Jake Pitts (Black Veil Brides) Jacob Mark "Jake" Pitts is an American musician and record producer best known as the lead guitarist of the rock band Black Veil Brides.
3 Mark Heylmun (Suicide Silence)
4 Ray Toro (My Chemical Romance) Raymond "Ray" Toro is an American musician who served as lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the band My Chemical Romance until their split in 2013.

Horribly underrated guy, I understand his genre of music isn't the most popular but the guy slays. Make him a metal guitarist and I bet he'd be more popular.

Ray Toro is like a guitar god, give him a chance, let yourself appreciate his solos and music and you'll know why

5 Mick Thomson (Slipknot) Mickael Gordon "Mick" Thomson is an American heavy metal musician. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, he is best known as one of two guitarists in Slipknot, in which he is designated #7.
6 Mark Morton (Lamb of God)
7 Zacky Vengeance (Avenged Sevenfold) Zachary James Baker, better known by his stage name Zacky Vengeance, is an American musician, best known as the rhythm guitarist, backing vocalist, and founding member for the American alternative metal/ metalcore band Avenged Sevenfold. Zacky V. also owns a small clothing company, Vengeance University.

If you ask me, he's just as good as Syn.

8 Ben Bruce (Asking Alexandria)
9 Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders) Oluwatosin Ayoyinka Olumide "Tosin" Abasi (born January 7, 1983), is a Nigerian American musician, best known as the founder and lead guitarist of the instrumental progressive metal band Animals as Leaders. Before founding Animals as Leaders, he was the guitarist for the technical metalcore band Reflux. He has recorded and released four albums with Animals as Leaders: a self-titled debut, Weightless, The Joy of Motion and their most recent album, The Madness of Many. Guitar World ranks Abasi at #97 on their list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of all time.

All these people suck except tosin

More talented than EVERY other guitarist on this list put together, and also highly influential. Listen to Blotted Science and see.

He has the nickname "Metal's Mad Scientist" for a reason.

14 Tyler Bates (Marilyn Manson)
