Most Underrated NFL Players

The Top Ten
1 Terron Armstead
2 Anthony Barr Anthony Barr is an American football outside linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League.

That Vikings defense is underrated. Linebackers Anthony Barr, Chad Greenway, and Eric Hendricks are beasts. In the secondary, ageless wonder Terrance Newman is playing like he's 34.(he's 38). Xavier Rhodes is shutting down Odell and Antone Exum and Trae Waynes are great back-ups. Oh and Harrison Smith is a pro bowl level Safety who is very underrated. The defensive line includes: Sharrif Floyd, Linval Joseph, and Everson Griffen. Top 3 defensive in the league right there.

What do you mean their defense is underrated

3 Delanie Walker Delanie Walker is an American football tight end for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League.

One of the best TE in the NFL. Remember him with the 49ers and is know proving himself with Tennesee.

4 Brandon Marshall Brandon Tyrone Marshall is an American football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He has played for six different teams in his NFL career. Marshall was drafted in the fourth round, 119th overall to the Denver Broncos in 2006.
5 Jason Verrett

He is really coming along with Brandon Flowers and Casey Hayward.

6 Malcolm Jenkins Malcolm Jenkins is an American football safety for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League.

Playing great even at this age with the Eagles.

7 Roscoe Parrish
8 Kurt Warner Kurtis Eugene "Kurt" Warner is a former American football quarterback, a current part-time TV football analyst, and a philanthropist.

Good? Yes. Underrated? No. Aaron Rodgers and Kurt Warners stats are nearly identical right down to MVP, and SB trophies. And Aaron did it in 3 less seasons as a starter.

Kurt Warner is the best quarter back that ever lived

9 Devonta Freeman Devonta Freeman is an American football running back for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.
10 Don Hutson

He pretty much invented the WR, by creating pretty much every route used in the NFL today. He had more receiving yards than the other 9 teams in the NFL at that time had total PASSING yards. It also doesn't hurt that he averaged a TD every 5 catches.

The greatest player of all time, and still never ends up on many people's top 10 receiver lists. How much more underrated can a player get?

He defined wide receiver. He is a top three in history. He is arguably the greatest Packer ever.

12 Michael Bennett Michael Bennett, Jr. is an American football defensive end for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League.

More all purpose yards than Barry Sanders, but mostly because of kick returns and passing catching though.

15 Maurice Jones-Drew
16 Fran Tarkenton

One of the greatest dual threat QB's of all time, behind only Roger Staubach.

What a legend. The best Vikings QB ever.

17 Ronnie Brown
18 Willie Snead
19 Derrick Mason

Derrick Mason is very underrated. He deserves Hall of Fame. He is better than Joey Galloway, Keyshawn Johnson, Chad Johnson, and Braylon Edwards. Great Player.

He is an amazing wide receiver, but nobody really thinks so!
