She is garbage

12 Karel (Fire Emblem)

Very true, sadly. Haters either hate him because he's vicious, or because of his looks. Thus they constantly demonize and antagonize him whenever they have the chance if they draw fanart or write fanfiction.

Seriously people. Karel is not a bad guy. Just because he is vicious, doesn't make him a villain, bad guy or antagonist. I'm so sick and tired of the demonization most people give him. This is probably the haters' fault, too. It has gotten so far that I no longer look at fanart or fanfiction of him anymore unless it is good. Karel seems to be more into anti-hero territory at worst, and even so, there are many other non-villain characters who acted much more villainous than he does.

Why don't people accept the fact that the Sword Demon became the Sword Saint?

Karel has got to be the most misunderstood of all fictional characters. I swear... (Played the game many times, beat it, and knows who Karel is before getting into a discussion with an opinion like this)

1. While no fan theory is 100% canon and so on, the point still stands the fact that Karel is a good/heroic character who just happens to have gone insane. The rest of his family were bullies who didn't let him have the sword he wanted. Thus the madness began, and sees everyone as a worthy opponent at first, but he develops into a much better character and realizes that not everyone is a worthy foe and that family is important. Now, if Karel was really "evil", then he would never have joined the protagonists or became the Sword Saint. His sister, on the other hand, is an idiot and only existed to bear Fir, nothing else. Not every human or fictional character has a nice family like we do, unfortunately.

2. Karel did not kill because he wanted to. It was because ...more

It is likely that his family were bullies who didn't let him have the sword he wanted, and himself being the 'runt' of the bunch. This is why he turned out the way he did. But that doesn't stop him from getting good character development later on.

LOL, you sound like a hater if you think he's unlikable or complete scum.

He's the guy that kills his family, he's unlikable at best and complete scum at worst. He even tries to kill his sister.

13 Krystal (Star Fox)

Maybe not underrated among furries but still underrated as a video game character, enough that she didn't even appear as a fighter in the latest Smash Bros. despite so many fan requests. I wish people would do Krystal justice.

14 Miles Tails Prower Miles Prower, more commonly known by his nickname Tails, is a fictional character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a significant main character after the title character Sonic, who is also his best friend.

Plus, Tails is my favorite Sonic character. Glad he returned as a playable character in Sonic Mania.

15 Marina (Splatoon 2)

Marie and Callie>Marina and Pearl

She's an overrated ho

16 Pearl (Splatoon 2)

Come on, she's AWESOME.
A yellow-eyed MC_Princess (remember, the chicken came first).
Also, look at what she did at the end of Octo Expansion.
Her overall personality is just AMAZING.

Everyone seems to hate her

17 Bowser Bowser is the main antagonist of the Mario Bros. Franchise. From kidnapping Princess Peach to simply destroying a fun game between Mario and Friends in the Mario Party spinoff series, this king of the Koopas has set up a certain hatred towards himself amongst the large cast of Mario Characters. He first appeared in the 1985 popular videogame, Super Mario Bros., in which he was responsible for kidnapping Princess Toadstool (more commonly known as Princess Peach), which was released in Arcades and on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Videogame System.

Bowser is Awesome.

18 Wendy O. Koopa Wendy O. Koopa is a female villain in the Super Mario Bros. franchise. She is the only female member of the Koopalings and is usually found assisting Bowser on his wicked plans with the rest of the Koopalings. She first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3 in 1988 and since then has been a reappearing foe in the Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. series. She has also appeared as a villain in the Paper Mario series and similar games. She is a playable character in the Mario Kart franchise and other spin-off series and can be played as an alternate skin to Bowser Jr. in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS and its sequel Ultimate for Switch.

Wendy is the best!

19 Oerba Dia Vanille
20 Nana (Ice Climbers)
