This might be a weird list but I've made this list because these bands are underrated outside of toptens but on toptens they are highly praised .Cuz there are so many positive list about them on toptens .

1 Deep Purple Deep Purple are an English rock band formed in Hertford in 1968. They are considered to be among the pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock, although their musical approach changed over the years. Originally formed as a progressive rock band, the band shifted to a heavier sound in 1970. Before joining toptens I used to think Deep Purple is very underrated. But after joining this site I realized that even though Deep Purple is underrated there, but its pretty much popular here.

4 Dire Straits Dire Straits were a British rock band formed in 1977 by Mark Knopfler, his younger brother David Knopfler, John Illsley, and Pick Withers.

Loved Knopfler until he opened his stupid yap in a lame, cowardly PC defense of "Money For Nothing" lyrics in which he claimed the "offensive" phrase (which is often scrubbed from airplay), and the lyrics in general were meant to mock American "blue-collar ignoramuses." He can keep to his dreary little island and pound sand.
