Top Ten Most Underrated Songs from Female Singers
Not a cover; Japanese songwriter Shigeru Umebayashi wrote this stirring piece as the theme for the movie "House of Flying Daggers" back in 2003. Although it is incredibly beautiful, it is also extremely challenging, and most modern pop singers simply don't have the chops for it. In the past 15 years, only two singers have dared to attempt it- the well-known opera diva Kathleen Battle, and Miss Evancho.
Absolutely beautiful theme song to the movie "House of Flying Daggers"; which is very sad and tragic, but if you liked "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", you will love the movie.
Jackie includes this in every one of her concerts. She delivers it with a great deal of emotion and passion, culminating in a truly spectacular a capella ending.
It's a Cover! It can't be under or over rated because it's not her song
This is my favorite song from the "Awakening" CD. It's a personal manifesto but inspiring for anyone who is striving to fulfill their dreams. Beautifully and earnestly sung by Miss Jackie.
My favorite Jackie song. Sure it's in Italian, but that's what makes it so charming. And no, it's not opera. See her YouTube video as she performs this for Sharon Osbourne on The Talk. Unforgettable.
