Top Ten Most Underrated Superheroes

There are some great superheroes. But some don't get enough credit. Vote for your favorite hero that you think deserves more credit.
The Top Ten
1 Aquaman Aquaman is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, the character debuted in More Fun Comics #73.

Aquaman is super underrated. People think he can just talk to fish but he can do way more. He can dehydrate people just by touching someone and yet he is considered the lamest. So unfair.

Even though Aquaman is a very powerful character with a good backstory, he is made fun of and never taken seriously

Very underrated Superhero he was also one of the leading 7 members of the justice league.

Probably one of the most powerful characters in the DC universe, he's made fun of because of that stupid 70s cartoon show. Very sad.

2 Moon Knight Moon Knight is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, the character first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is portrayed by Oscar Isaac.

Favorite hero so complex but so interesting just a powerful hero alone for just a human (since he doesn't have powers anymore)

Moon knight is veery similar to batman however he has more emotional and psycholgical issues making him more interesting

He is actually one of my favorite superheroes

One of my favorites

3 Nightwing Dick Grayson is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with Batman.

A lot of people like Nightwing but I still feel like he doesn't quite get the recognition he deserves. He can go toe-to-toe with Batman and even toook over the mantle when Bruce was gone. He's so fun to watch grow up and see him go from being a nine year old who watched his parents die in the circus to being a butt kicking machine only known as Nightwing. His on again/off again relationship with Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) is really fun to watch and get into as well. All in all Nightwing is a great character who I think should be acknowledged as one of the best characters in the D.C. Universe.

He is totally underrated, Nightwing is like one of the most powerful hero, like ever!

What are you talking about? He's a fan favorite!

4 Doctor Fate Doctor Fate is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character has appeared in various incarnations, with Doctor Fate being the name of several different individuals in the DC Universe who are a succession of sorcerers.
5 The Question

Being a relatively recent addition to DC (he used to be owned by Charlton Comics), the Question never got the publicity other DC heroes got.

Okay, this guy, is so cool.

6 Martian Manhunter The Martian Manhunter is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Joseph Samachson and designed by artist Joe Certa, the character first appeared in the story "The Manhunter from Mars" in Detective Comics #225.

How he is not #1 astounds me. They put major and in no way underrated characters like Flash, Green Arrow, and Daredevil and place them over him? Learn your comics.

He, like Aquaman, is incredibly powerful, but overshadowed by heroes like Superman, Wonder Woman and, to an extent, Batman.

7 Black Lightning
8 Green Arrow Green Arrow is a fictional superhero who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Morton Weisinger and designed by George Papp, he first appeared in More Fun Comics #73 in November 1941. His real name is Oliver Queen, a billionaire businessman and owner of Queen Industries, also a well-known celebrity in his locale of Star City.

"Best Fictional Archer" doesn't even have a movie

The Contenders
11 Hawkman Hawkman is a fictional superhero who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Dennis Neville, the original Hawkman first appeared in Flash Comics #1, published by All-American Publications in 1940.
12 Captain Marvel/Shazam

Yep. He's pretty much incredible once he says Shazam, and as a kid he's entertaining for children. Instead they watch the Hulk get angry and hurt people. Oh well...

13 The Green Hornet
14 Squirrel Girl

Squirrel girl is an incredibly formidable superhero, but a lot of her amazing fights, like beating Doctor Doom, happen off-panel. How she is so powerful is still kind of a mystery

NO SHE IS NOT UNDERRATED! I don't care if she defeated Doctor Doom, that doesn't mean she isn't annoying and awful

15 Daredevil Daredevil is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Daredevil was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett, with an unspecified amount of input from Jack Kirby. The character was first portrayed in live action by Rex Smith in the 1989 television movie The Trial of the Incredible Hulk. He was played by Ben Affleck in the 2003 film Daredevil, and is portrayed by Charlie Cox in the Marvel Television productions Daredevil and The Defenders on Netflix for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

So underrated. This guy's beast!

16 The Flash The Flash is the name of several superheroes appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert, the original Flash first appeared in Flash Comics #1.

Better then Batman (who is overrated in my opinion) even Batman thinks he's better than Batman, he said "Barry Allen is the type if man he wish he would've became if his parents didn't die" even though he has a tragic back story he never became all dark and brooding. And he can do so much you wouldn't even imagine with superspeed. Go through walls, jump great distances, throw lightning, time travel, power punch, perform surgery, create and stop tornadoes, the possibilities are endless! I am TEAM FLASH! ⚡

Flash is so strong that he could take everyone else on this list down with little effort at the same time, but people think he just runs fast.

The Flash is the most overpowered superhero out of all the ones that exist.

I love this superhero and should promote more

17 The Spectre Spectre is the name given to several fictional anti-hero characters who have appeared in numerous comic books published by DC Comics.

Have you seen his cape? (Hint: It's amazing.)

18 Spawn Spawn is a fictional character, an antihero and hellish Superhero that appears in a monthly comic book of the same name published by American company Image Comics.

He waged his war alone

19 Elongated Man

20 Vision The Vision is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is an android and a member of the Avengers who first appeared in The Avengers #57. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is portrayed by Paul Bettany.

I never got the sense he was underrated. Everyone seems to love him, and isn't he getting his own movie soon?

Deadpool should be taken way more seriously and not taken as a joke

Everyone loves him and he's a fan favorite how's he underrated?

Obviously with another actor most coveted

23 Booster Gold Booster Gold is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Dan Jurgens, the character first appeared in Booster Gold #1 and has been a member of the Justice League.

What's ironic about Booster Gold is that he is destined to not be famous, since he comes from a future where he is not remembered as a superhero.

24 Colossus Colossus is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly associated with the X-Men.

How is Colossus underrated? I think he gets a fair amount of attention. Oh, I see, the poor hero barely gets any merchandise or is featured in posters. But at least the Deadpool movies acknowledged his existence and I don’t know about you but in the comics, he’s currently dating Domino, a few years after they killed off Cable. (luckily, he recently came back because it made the fans angry and Marvel gave into their cries and gave them what they wanted) But Colossus and Domino both deserve each other, in the comics, Colossus got dumped at the alter by his so-called ex-girlfriend causing him to get depressed and runaway and Domino lost her boyfriend because of Marvel’s stupid move of killing off Cable (sure, Cable is kind of weird but he doesn’t deserve that), so they deserve each other and I hope they get married, Domino needs some happiness because she basically became the butt monkey lately (all she does is suffer now, it’s so sad to look at and she doesn’t deserve this) ...more
