Top 10 Underrated Thrash Metal Songs Not Released by the Big 4

The Top Ten
1 Black Prophecies - Dark Angel

I call this song epic thrash although there's no such term. Give this song a chance (if you don't know it) and you will understand why I call it epic thrash.

2 Kill (Those Who Oppose Me) - Lost Society

All band members were teens when released this song in 2013.

3 Masked Jackal - Coroner
4 Human Insecticide - Annihilator

People usually know Alison Hell and maybe some other songs but this one is underrated. It's a great song. The picking speed is insane.

5 Root to All Evil - Dead Brain Cells

They play technical and progressive thrash - sounds a bit different but not less interesting.

6 Suicide Command - Coroner
7 W.T.Y.D.- Annihilator
8 Merciless Death - Dark Angel

In the 80s this band earned the nickname "L.A. coffein machine". For a reason.

9 Semtex Revolution - Coroner
10 Funeral Hymn - Exodus
The Contenders
11 Fire In the Hole - Laaz Rockit
12 R.I.P. - Coroner
13 The Genesis Explosion - Dead Brain Cells

Thrash meets Pink Floyd. And I like it.

14 The Years of Decay - Overkill
15 Certain Death - Sadus
16 Henchman Ride - Testament
17 Scumbag in Disguise - Havok

Most people know only Killing Tendencies and (perhaps) D.O.A. But this one is very good, too.

18 Son of Lilith - Coroner
19 Sadus Attack - Sadus
20 Arc-Lite - Coroner

At #11 and not higher only because it's instrumental. But it's mindblowing. One of my top 3 metal instrumentals.

21 Agent Orange - Sodom
22 Trash All Over You - Lost Society
23 Fatal Intervention - Havok
24 Alison Hell - Annihilator
25 Into the Pit - Testament
