Washington is overall a beautiful state! It's beauty is overwhelming and there are so many things you can go do. You can do everything from climb a mountain to spend a day in a market, from camping out ON a beach to visiting a small farming town. We are the home of Starbucks, fresh fruits and vegetables, evergreen trees, and SO much more.
Here is like little Alaska that has the weather Ireland. We have all the seasons, the first Starbucks, The Space Needle, camping, mountains, evergreens (lol its called the Evergreen State so there is a bunch of green) blue color (rain and the Seahawks). Sad that they don't have a basketball team in NBA... Thanks to a larger person in her extended family named Oklahoma... It's not like its too cold... Yes we live in the northern part of the US but with a cool current streaming through... And one more thing... Leavenworth! That Bavarian town that actually looks like your'e in the Alps? Well my conclusion is that Washington really needs some more popularity. Forgetting about Washington is like forgetting 6 million people. That's a mistake in your US population counting.
Washington has rainforest desserts canyons lowlands mountains volcanoes and tall volcanoes like mount rainier. Washington is the most beautiful state in America and I've visited almost all of them. This state is by far the most under rated state.
Lousy weather (especially Seattle) and unfriendly people. And lots of states have mountains, water, and trees. There is nothing special or unique about Washington that can't be found elsewhere. Washington is by far the most overrated state in the country. - DonPenholdV 7 Comments
People think Ohio is just cornfields but they are wrong Ohio is extremely underrated with Cedar point and the Great Lakes in the north Columbus in central Ohio another amusement park as in kings island in the south and some of the best sports teams in the nation such as Ohio State and the Cleveland Cavaliers
People think of Ohio as a flat, farming state, but it offers many exciting cities, cedar point (which is awesome) as well as beautiful scenery in the southeast, which is located in Apalachia.. Beautiful in the fall!
Come on! Ohio is not underrated, Its overrated, everybody here is so arrogant
Ohio is by far the most overrated state in the United States of America. Many people think of Ohio as cornfields and farms, which I don't understand because it is actually the 7th most populous state and 10th most densely populated. Anyways, there are plenty of things to do in Ohio. There are amusement parks such as the number 1 amusement park in the world, Cedar Point, located in Sandusky, along with Kings Island, located in Mason which is outside of Cincinnati, and Coney Island. Not to mention, Ohio is home to the largest indoor waterpark in the USA, Kalahari. Other things you can do in Ohio is hiking. Ohio has beautiful scenery, especially in autumn. Some places to hike include Hueston Woods, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Caesar Creek State Park, etc. Ohio also has spectacular college sports teams, such as The Ohio State University (football, basketball, wrestling, gymnastics, baseball, etc.) and plenty professional teams, the Cleveland Cavilers, ...more
Everyone always says the weather sucks, it's hard to find jobs, and the people are rude. I don't see why, Florida without a doubt has some of the friendliest people in the nation, and there's so much fun stuff to do, there's Universal Studios Orlando, there's all the awesome beaches, there's really cool alligators and swamps, and let's never forget Disney World! It seems like the people hating on Florida have never even been there. Plus this state needs to be higher on this list, cause Florida is awesome.
The weather sucks, it's hard to find jobs, and the people are rude.
The blue haired folk live there to stay alive
I have lived here my whole life and I love it! Boston is an awesome city! The Harbor always has a feel to it, the north end is very historic and amazing, the duck boats are a lot of fun, the aquarium is always a lot of fun, the schools and hospitals are some of the best in the world (people from all over the world come to Harvard University), and plus our sports teams have been doing great over the past few years. It's a very cool city and shame it doesn't get a lot of attention compared to cities like New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, or San Fransisco (As much as I love those cities, I do feel they get a lot of attention compared to Boston, Philadelphia, or even Chicago). As for the rest of Massachusetts also has a lot of really cool historic sites, really awesome beaches (they aren't that cold to be honest and Cape Call of Duty is beautiful and loads of fun), the berkshires are really scenic and beautiful (plus they have band orchestras there too). Gosh there's so much to do, it's ...more
The other long comment on this post prefectly embodies Massachusetts. They talk forever and nothing they say makes any sense.V 1 Comment
Its so awesome its got the world of coke -
Coke tastes to good! The Walking Dead is cool to.V 1 Comment
The Black Hills are beautiful and there is Mount Rushmore, of course. A lot of the state is kind of flat and boring and it takes a long time to drive to the Black Hills. Once you're there, it's worth it.
South Dakota is a beautiful state with so much to explore, especially in the black hills.
The Blackhills, Mt. Rushmore, the Badlands... need I say more?
I’ve heard people talk about their amazing trips over the US, and I haven’t heard South Dakota in any of them! Sometimes I forget it’s a state itself
From natural attractions such as Black Mesa, the Ozarks, the Wichita Mountains wildlife preserve, the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, the Turner Falls, and also places such as Downtown OKC. Oklahoma is widely overlooked as just another state with farms, plains, and tornadoes, but there is so much more. Oklahoma City and Tulsa are fast growing cities with lots of job opportunities. There are multiple museums in the OKC and Tulsa metro areas, which add to the experiences. (also Oklahoma has surpassed California as the most seismically active state, not exactly an accomplishment to be proud of, but anything to give us some credit.)
I can't believe it's #38. It's SO underrated!
It has so many cool features and places to visit! I mean, this is the one
and only state that is representing Native Americans all over the world.
I lived in Alaska for like 3 years and everyone's always like "Oh you must have been miserable, it's so cold up there..." when in reality the summers are SO nice. down here in Texas the summers are like 90 degrees, but our springs are like Alaska's summers.
Wow this should be at the top everyone thinks it's so cold we'll it's not plus we produce so much of the United States oil you can't complain
You did give us Sarah Palin. God tells me I must forgive, but it may take awhile...V 1 Comment
I can't believe how people hate on such a beautiful place I mean come on if you like doing stuff in the woods and historical stuff than this is the place I live in Madison beautiful place I do get bored only because I go from home to school and back 24/7 but when I go to greenwood to visit family I work really hard on different stuff then the next day have fun in the country and you got to thank us for your cotton clothes and other produce and did you know in Indiana Mississippi means GREAT cool ugh.
Mississippi is the most underrated state out of all the Us. People say bad stuff about it that don't even know why they are talking about. My grandmother is from there and I have been there. It is beautiful and great! The people there are so friendly and it has a lot of neat historical places. Please vote for Mississippi and stop hating on it! - Cartermd
Saying Mississippi is the most underrated state is true, because not much can explain how bad of a state it is.

Poor Delaware, the laughing stock of the nation. But hey, tax-free shopping and the whole "First State" thing gives it some points!
I was raised in DE and hated it. Completely flat, No National Parks, Retirees, Rednecks and Snobby Rich people are everywhere
A cute little state, I like it. - PolishGuy
Hi I'm in Delaware
There are some people that think Texas people ride around on horses on dirt roads with mail boys. One kid was moving from New York and asked the flight attendant, "Y'all do have cars right? Like, there are actual highways and streets and houses with electricity? " The flight attendant and I both looked at him like "Really? I mean, really? Texas had electricity back in the Great Depression... Idiot"
Virginia is the most populous state without a sports team. Also, it is categorized with D.C. , but there is a lot more character in Virginia. Richmond, the capital of the South, is a city that is often overlooked. There is also access to the beaches, the mountains, and the US Capitol, all within one hour from Richmond. There are also some rural areas in western Virginia.
Very VERY underrated. Any T.V. shows/ YouTubers from there? Nope.
It's so underrated it's not in the top 10
No income or sales tax.
Needs to be in the top 3 - Idiot
The live free or die state boasts the 3rd lowest crime rate, 6th highest median income, and some were up there in fitness and lack of polutionV 1 Comment
So much variety of activities available in this state it's incredible
I know that everyone thinks that it's the coldest state in the us other than Alaska but if you hate the cold just come here in the summer. Temperatures are like always in the 80s. There is so much to do from every corner in North Dakota and I'm pretty sure that if you even have a good attitude you'll have a great time just take it from me and the 700,000 other people here. And yes we have electricity and cell phones and believe it or not-air conditioning. There is no state I'd rather live in (I have heard of Florida, California, and Hawaii.
North Dakota is everything wonderful, you can experience snow in the winter and a pool in the summer. Prairie life is the best life, to me. There are NO rude drivers here at all. Not much for vacations though.
The winters are very cold, but other than that this state is awesome with prairies and woodlands full of buffalos and mooses. - PolishGuy
I live here in Kansas city and its very fun for most of the time, we have worlds of fun, zona Rosa, the plaza and very good barbeque. Also jazz was grew up here.
Everybody knows about them for KFC, which is bull. Kentucky has a lot of scenic beauty with mostly friendly people. People stereotype KY as being a racist confederate state, but if they actually knew their history, they would know Kentucky was a UNION border state that simply allowed slavery! Granted, the state is corrupt politically, and Mitch McConnell and Kim Davis are complete morons. But as a state, Kentucky doesn't deserve all of the crap it gets. And I'm not kidding about the state being beautiful. Mountains, forests, cities, rolling hills, farmland, Kentucky has it all. In Autumn it can be absolutely gorgeous to drive through the countryside. They aren't the best state, but Kentucky's not that bad.
