Most Underrated Vocaloids

The Top Ten
1 Kamui Gakupo Gackpoid, is a software product developed by Internet Co., Ltd. for the Vocaloid software. His voice is sampled from Japanese singer and actor Gackt. The mascot of the software is called Camui Gackpo, after Gackt's alias name.

I don't know why is he so under appreciated, I mean his voice was provided by the one and only GACKT sama...! His voice is powerful and resonating and he can take any girly song and smexify it! He can rap really well too. And he sooo deserves an English voice bank because he is doing well without it.

I ABSOLUTELY love Gakupo's voice, but I have heard his voice is difficult to manage so I guess that's why he isn't so popular. Plus the fandom has given him a terrible personality. He deserves better! More recognition!

Everyone keeps paying attention to the female vocaloids and not the males.
This guy deserves more attention!

2 Kizuna Akari
3 Hiyama Kiyoteru Hiyama Kiyoteru is a masculine vocaloid character produced by AH-Software Co. Ltd and released originally for Vocaloid 2. His voice is provided by Japanese male singer Kiyoshi Hiyama.

Mr. Hiyama is pretty lousy for music (except when paired with Kaai Yuki, his perfect student) but his teacher persona has added so much to Talkloids for all the young vocaloids like Oliver, Yuki, Ryuto and so on.

4 Haruno Sora
5 MEIKA Hime
6 MEIKA Mikoto
7 Cul

CUL is amazing when used right. Too bad it's so hard to use her right. Hopefully they'll be able to fix her in her V4 update (if she gets one).

29? Come on she is way too underrated

CUL should be higher on this list.

8 Lily Lily (リリィ) is a female Vocaloid created by Internet Co., Ltd., done in collaboration with Avex Management Co., Ltd and YAMAHA Corporation, and was initially released in August 2010 for the VOCALOID2 engine. There has since been a second installment developed for the VOCALOID3 engine and dubbed V3 Lily. She is voiced by the Japanese female singer, musician and performance artist, Yuri Masuda (益田祐里; Masuda Yuri).

Lily deserves so much love, she sound fantastic in +Reverse but that song is over shadowed by +Impale. Even though +Impale is BASED on +Reverse

Voting only to get Lily a bit higher than the overrated Miku.

She sounds amazing and deserves more recognition

9 Utatane Piko Utatane Piko is a Japanese speaking Vocaloid by Sony Entertainment for Vocaloid 2. He is based on the Japanese singer Piko.

Piko is getting so less love for some reason, and I think that's a shame, he's design is great and have such a good voice even if he maybe died (when it's coming for popularity) he's still an amazing vocaloid with good voice, seriously stop hate him HE IS SO UNDERRATED!

Overrated, not underrated.

10 Otomachi Una Otomachi Una, sometimes referred to as Una Otomachi, is a female Vocaloid created by Internet Co., Ltd and MTK Inc. She is voiced by Aimi Tanaka.

How did MIKU get ahead of Una? ' MIKU. Miku: Waay too overrated. Otomachi Una: Her voice is not one of those ridiculous high-pitched voices that Rin, Gumi, or Miku has. Her voice is actually balanced and more realistic than Miku.

I hate all those people who say gakupo is underrated. UNA IS UNDERRATED. I think Gakupo is kinda overrated now

Who cannot resist a cute girl with a high voice like Una?!

Omg she has such a realistic sounding and cute voice

The Contenders
11 Kokone Kokone (心響), whose name means "Heart Sound" in Japanese, is a Vocaloid 3 vocal released by Internet Co., Ltd..

I love you Kokone, You deserve to walk on the red carpet. Your voice can make people cry while Miku's voice can make people happy.

She is so underrated, she needs more love. She is destined to sing a duet with Miku in the spotlight.

Hush now my little child. You will always be popular in my eyes.

12 Kagamine Len Kagamine Len is a Japanese male Vocaloid2 developed by Crypton Future Media and voiced by Shimoda Asami. He was originally released along with Kagamine Rin on December 27, 2007 as Kagamine Rin/Len (CV02), but had the updates of Kagamine Rin/Len (CV02) Act 2 (on July 18, 2008), Kagamine Rin/Len Append (on December 27, 2010), and Kagamine Rin/Len V4X and Kagamine Rin/Len V4 English, who spoke English (on December 24, 2015).

I think he is the most overrated Vocaloid after Miku ;-;

Why is he on this list, he is too overrated.

You know he is not underrated he is the second or third most pouplar

I like the boy.

13 Ryuto Gachapoid Ryuto is a male Vocaloid created by Internet Co., Ltd. He is the mascot of Gachapoid. Despite not being a failure, he generally has negative reception. He is voiced by Kuniko Amemiya.

This young boy needs more love.

14 SeeU

I'm not putting SeeU because I love her, SeeU is actually underrated. Korean Vocaloids aren't that popular or have many fans right now.

15 Fukase Fukase, is a vocal developed and distributed by Yamaha Corporation for Vocaloid 4. He is voiced by Satoshi Fukase, the lead singer of the Japanese band, SEKAI NO OWARI.

I know how new he is, but I really like his design, name and voice! I really, really hope he gets more popular, he's my favorite Vocaloid so far!

He and miku are my favorite vocaloids. His design is my favorite and his voice is amazing.

He should get more love he has a great design and a wonderful voice

16 Oliver

He is fine (he is neither overrated or underrated) but yes he needs more love.

17 Yuzuki Yukari Yuzuki Yukari (結月ゆかり) is a Japanese VOCALOID developed by Vocalomakets and distributed by AH-Software Co. Ltd.. She was initially released in December 2011 for the VOCALOID3 engine. She is also available as a VOICEROID+. In March 2015, she was updated to the VOCALOID4 engine and was given two additional voicebanks. Her voice is provided by the Japanese voice actress Chihiro Ishiguro (石黒千尋;... read more

She is pretty underrated people. Why do you guys only focus on Miku? Her voice is enigmatic and beautiful. She and the other underrated vocaloids exist too, not just Miku.

I like her style and her voice. she deserves more attention like the rest of the underrated vocaloids!

Listen to 'There's supposed to be a cheat code to happiness'. It's really good.

18 Rana Rana is a Japanese VOCALOID originally developed by We've Inc. in collaboration with Internet Co., Ltd. and was released for the VOCALOID3 engine in September 2014. Her VOCALOID4 update was developed by We've Inc. and distributed by YAMAHA in December 2015. She is voiced by Ai Kakuma (加隈亜衣; Kakuma Ai), a Japanese voice actress.

I want Rana to be my CHILD

19 Macne Nana Macne Nana (Japanese: Mac音ナナ, Makune Nana) is a vocal developed for Mac computers for Reason and GarageBand. Her GarageBand and Reason voicebanks were able to be ported over into UTAU, and later on, she was released for Vocaloid 3.

She is supposed to be famous! She was litterally first an UTAU but then became a vocaloid

One of my favorites...
p.s.: to the comment under, she used to be UTAU, but now she's a vocaloid

20 Tone Rion
21 Mayu MAYU is a female Vocaloid created by EXIT TUNES Co., Ltd. She generally has mixed reception. She is voiced by Mayumi Morinaga.

I love her songs toon pop idol, a lie and a stuffed animal, and love logic! Her design is as amazing as her voice!

22 YOHIOloid Yohioloid is an English Vocaloid developed by PowerFX who also has an additional Japanese voice bank. The vocalist sampled for his vocals was Swedish singer Yohio.

Yohioloid is great! I love his voice, it's not high pitched but not too deep. His voice provider is an amazing singer and I suggest checking him out if you like his vocaloid.

23 V Flower

I love V Flower! She's my favorite VOCALOID (plus her high range is outstanding? ) Now if you wanted some flower songs to recommend, I suggest looking for "Appetite of a People Pleaser", "HYPERDONTIA" or "Novocaine" (if you want English songs anyway)

V Flower is Awesome! She needs more love! She is way more underrated than a lot of vocaloids on this list

*plays 'frost' in background* Only explanation for a V Flower song playing in the background:I love V Flower songs.

24 Nekomura Iroha Nekomura Iroha is a female vocaloid character produced by AH-Software Co. Ltd for Vocaloid 2. The voice sampled for her was confirmed to be Showa-style singer Kyounosuke Yoshitate.

Overrated, not underrated.

25 Avanna

"She depends on you"

Avanna is completely underrated. The only good song I've heard with her is Porter Robinson's Sad Machine, but just that alone makes me enjoy her so much!

I bet most of you don't even know Avanna existed
