Top 10 Most Unfairly and Harshly Hated Musical Artists
I'm not surprised Justin Bieber was on this list. Do I approve of spitting on people? NO. Do I approve of cheating on one's wife? NO. But do I approve of acting like Justin Bieber is the worst person on the planet just of these things? No.
It's really ironic how Justin Bieber haters are always shaming Justin for all the questionable things that he has done, yet they are always excessively hating on him all the time by bullying him, trolling him, verbally abusing him, insulting him, etc and they think that all of that is okay for some reason, and some of them even wish death on him, and they were even treating him like that ever since he started his music career back when he was 15 years old when Justin was innocent before he did anything wrong, it's almost like they're thinking that if they do anything wrong it's "perfectly fine" and "okay" but if Justin does anything wrong even if what he does isn't as bad as what they do they shame him for it all the time. This just shows you that JB haters live in their own world and don't care if what they do makes them look stupid, ironic, immature, hypocritical, etc just as long as they can hate on Justin Bieber they will go for it. The JB hatebase is one of the worst hatebases ever.
I wouldn't call them good but they're definitely more would what I would think of as "don't really care for them" bad than "worst rock band ever to sign a record deal" bad.
Their music is generic sure, but they've made some good songs and they are nice guys in real life apparently.
Their music is good honestly. I never understood why they got this much hate. Similarly to Justin Bieber, it probably a case of people bandwagoning.
Sure it's easy to hate on 1D because of their hysterical fans or because of their generic music, but some of the boys from 1D have really come a long way when it comes to artistry. Harry Styles is a prime example.
I'm shocked that nobody added her to this list, so I did. When "Friday" first came out, people started bashing it and acting like it was the worst thing ever. She was just a young teenager when this song was released, and she ended up getting bullied and receiving death threats because of it. It seems that she has since distanced herself from "Friday," but the amount of hate and death threats she received was extremely harsh and undeserved. People label her as one of the worst singers of all time solely because of that song.
The treatment she has received over her past relationships was just unfair. Some people called her a "crazy ex-girlfriend" just for pouring her heart out. But now she finally has a long-lasting relationship and no one talks about it, and I guess that's a good thing.
She actually has a GOOD VOICE. And GOOD SONGS. I haven't been listening to any of her more recent songs, but all the songs from around 2001-2017 are REALLY good. She gets way too much hate for the substantial amount of talent that she has.
She has made some questionable songs, but not her entire discography sucks. People are just bandwagoning.
I know he's pretentious to some people and that other people are mad at him because of U2 dropping their album on everyone's iPhones without their consent but he's a great man who does a lot of charity work.
Those who hate their music or think of their lyrics as overly dramatic probably have no idea what Chester Bennington had been through during his youth and his battle with depression, which ultimately got the better of him.
They are not a bad band they have 3 good songs in my opinion they shouldn't get hated
Wow that comment about Jessica Simpson sigh what was he thinking. However I will concede that a lot of people do seem to claim his music is bad without much of a concrete reason.
I just found out he plays on Pyramids by Frank Ocean so that on it's own puts him in in my good books as a musician at least.
The Newcomers
I bet there are two types of people who hate BMTH: (1) people who hate metalcore or (2) people who hated their change in genre. Needless to say, BMTH are a great band, even when they sound "poppier".
Whether it's because she dated Justin Bieber when they were young or because she made silly pop songs, she doesn't deserve the hate she gets.
I wouldn't say she's an amazing act or anything and I can definitely get why someone would dislike her music (even if I honestly like a lot of her songs) but she is a frequent target of the "not a real music artist" crap and gets a bunch of attacks on her personally for little discernable reason.
Yeah! Most of their songs sound the same and the guy's vocals sound like a rooster. However, they are not bad artists. They are okay and made memorable songs.
I mean, he does have some damning sexual assault allegations against him and he's burned a Bible before.

The hate on Sexyy Red is just blown out of proportion. Sure it may not be everyone's cup of tea but her music is definitely not for everyone. So if you don't like Sexyy Red (or female rap in general), just stay away from her music and move on! Thank you.
What has this guy been up to lately? He made like 1-2 moderate hits then disappeared. I guess some people hated him for trying to sound like Bieber.
I understand that some people hate him for most of his songs sounding the same or for his raspy vocals, but he's very friendly in real life and is definitely someone I would have a drink with.
At least he knows his music sucks, he said it himself. And he's a cool dude no doubt about that.
When Kesha became famous, she had a lot of hate because of her formulaic songs, her heavy use of AutoTune and her party girl image. However, people tend to forget she has vocal talent, which shows on "Prayin'".
Cannibal Corpse isn't a band that is supposed to be taken seriously really. Their songs can be seen as extreme and gross, but they are like a horror movie, but music instead. A lot of the band members seem like cool and nice people.
On the start of her career, she performed at an event called the Lollapalooza Festival during 2007 whereby a record label company Interscope found her due to her performance... read more
Only hated for being authentic. She has her influences, but she doesn't copy Madonna even though she tends to sound like her sometimes. She's a very talented singer and a respectful person.
She's often criticized for being nothing more than a Madonna copycat.
