Top Ten Most Unforgettable Disney Movies

There are some Disney movies that everybody has seen, and nobody can forget. This may be because of their masterfully crafted plot, developed characters and of course, the songs... or they can just be plain memorable because of their popularity. Anything goes here in The Happiest Place on Earth.

These movies are ones you can't forget, let's take a look at the Top Ten Unforgettable Disney Movies!
The Top Ten
1 The Lion King

After it's release in 1994, The Lion King has been regarded as one of Disney's best animated features and everybody who has seen it will probably tell you they love it. It's a good take on Hamlet, with interesting characters, catchy songs and my favourite Disney villain ever is here too. Lots of people remember this because of its popularity, or maybe it's one of the songs that makes them remember the movie for years to come.

I wasn't born when this movie came out, but it's one of the greatest films I've ever seen. My parents bought it on DVD and VCR, every time we went anywhere we would watch it first. It's not only the music, the amazing the storyline, the actors, or the animation. When you put ort together it's an emotional story that anyone can enjoy. Frozen maybe be the movie of our time, but The Lion King will always preside in my heart.

Glad that this is number one. It come out before I was born but I still love it. A classic that will never be forgotten. I am not just talking about the film I am talking about the musical. Truly beautiful film with great comedy from Timon and pumbaa complete with a beautiful musical that does not just copy the film.

This is my 1st than beauty and the beast. If I am being honest, mickey mousse is the most well known character but the Lion King is so unforgettable

2 Aladdin

This is a Disney classic. Aladdin is one of Disney's best, it was funny, charming and emotional all at the same time and it knew how to balance those 3 elements perfectly.Robin Williams as the Genie is one of the best cast roles for any animated movie. It is just an all round memorable movie that everybody who has seen it seems to like.

I'm mostly okay with Disney re-making a live action version of it, but re-casting a role played by Robin Williams isn't a very good idea. He was one of the nicest and most talented actors of all time. Will Smith is a good actor and I'm sure he will be funny, but Robin will always be one of the best.

Boring and overrated in my opinion, genie is cool though

Aladdin was my favorite

3 Beauty and the Beast

This movie is what some referred to as the best animated movie of all time. I see where they're coming from, tons of people praise this movie and with all the love it gets the more the popularity grows. The live action movie, show, and the hundreds upon thousands of merchandise show that this movie will not be forgotten anytime soon.

Probably my favorite of the Disney princess movies overall.

This and incredibles are my favorite animated movies

My, what a guy. Gaston!

4 Avengers: Infinity War

Never will forget this. It was an amazing movie. Even though it’s one of the most recent and there’s been some really good classic Disney movies, this one will probably never be forgettable. Until part 2, this is like the biggest movie of the whole year. I mean, it’s the alliance of almost every Marvel superhero to unite and fight against the Titan, Thanos. Marvel has been building the story up through out all of the Marvel Movies. Each one, you see little clues or clips of the uprising of Thanos and how he slowly develops his plan. This is movie will never be forgotten and remembered for a very very long time.

Yes. Disney owns Marvel so these superhero movies count. This movie isn't just a regular ol' movie - It's an event, all the Marvel movies preceding this one have been leading up to this very moment. No movie franchise has ever done something like this. All the Marvel superheroes you have come to known across the films team up against Thanos. It truly is an unforgettable experience.

I really don't care for these films, I watched this and I really didn't care about what happened

Great unforgettable ending, terrible unforgettable ending. It works!

5 The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid marked the beginning of the Disney renaissance, saving the Disney corporation from impending doom after a string of box office failures, so it is remembered for that reason and the fact that a lot of people love this movie is a reason too.Although I myself personally dislike this movie, I remember a lot of it.So do other people. There is a lot of love for this movie, and it will not be forgotten.

I used to want to watch this all the time when I was little but I'll never forget this movies.

6 Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins is a very well known Disney movie. It's remembered for its colourful characters, good plot and glorious songs. It's an all round classic and Disney fans will tell you that this is one of the best ever made. Even if you haven't seen it, you've probably seen the countless parodies of it. Everybody knows Mary Poppins.

If nothing but one song from the soundtrack and Dick van Dyke's accent survived, it would be unforgettable.

Definitely one of my favorite Disney movies, and one of the best movies made of all time. - SailorSedna

Don't you mean Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2?

7 Toy Story

How is this not number one, I mean really

Yes, Disney also owns Pixar.

1995 cgi, very impressive

8 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Snow White is timeless; the fact that it's still being enjoyed on its own merits 81 years after its release demonstrates that. I'm not sure you can say the same about Pirates of the Caribbean or The Avengers (although you certainly can about Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King).

Snow White started it all. The movie wasn't great by any means but it marks an important part in the history of Disney and animation as a medium. It will be remembered for being the first theatrical animated feature ever and Snow White is an iconic story, so it'll be looked on for that reason too.

Not a fan of it, but Snow White was the first Disney princess. Also, the movie is still popular after many years. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, even though I don't like it much, is in my opinion the most unforgettable Disney film.

I'm pretty sure that this movie is much more unforgettable than ''Aladdin'' or ''Beauty and the Beast''. Snow White is the first one that started all the Disney movies (well, almost Disney movies) and a very great one. If I could, I'd put ''Snow White and the seven Dwarfs'' higher because it's by far my favourite Disney movie, frankly.

9 Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl

This movie is my favourite live action Disney movie. It's full of great action, memorable character and dialogue - and it was a huge hit. Jack Sparrow is a very recognisable character and people will at least remember this series for him. Pirates of the Caribbean is an extremely successful series, so it will be fondly remembered.

I love all the Pirate of the Caribbean movies except for On Stranger Tides.

It was for a long time my faovurite movie of all time before Infinity War took the spot

But why's the rum gone?

10 Mulan

Honestly, any other Disney movie from the 90s could've filled this spot, but I chose Mulan because not only is it my personal favourite, but Mulan herself is a total boss. This movie is tone of the first Disney flicks to have the girl take charge and fight instead of gettting a prince to do it for her. It is memorable for that reason but also because it's just an all round good movie.

I love this movie because Mulan shows that girls can be badass instead of just waiting around for a prince to sweep her off her feet.

I love this movie because its not like other disny princes movies mulan actully can do stuff on her own and not have to get rescued by a prince

The Contenders
11 Fantasia

This should be number 1. Best animation, best music, and best characters. AND BEST VILLAIN! Chernabog is the best Disney Villain in the world. Scar is a whatever.

Every segment is unforgettable

Fantasia was a good movie.

12 Sleeping Beauty
13 Frozen

Whether you like this movie or not (I personally love it), it has been etched into pop culture so much to the point where you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't know what it is. It's also established itself as one of the most divisive films on the Internet. There's its obsessed superfans who can't allow it to take any criticism whatsoever and then there's its try-hard edgy haters who claim it's the worst thing to happen to humanity. But most importantly, Frozen is the highest grossing animated film ever made. More people went to see this movie in theaters than any other animated film in history, and that should speak volumes to its longevity and staying power. Its two Oscars also contribute to that.

This was put twice on the list, but I don't understand how this was the highest grossing animated film ever. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's very overrated and I don't get how it's seen as one of the best. - SailorSedna

It's overrated, but I think it's pretty good and I'm pretty sure NO ONE who saw this movie could forget it or get it out of their heads, it's THAT unforgettable.

I have my Art Therapy Colouring magazines with Disney ones. Frozen is one of them.

14 Zootopia

Here is something a bit more modern.Zootopia is a great movie, no doubt, people will remember it for its charming and witty characters, the plot, and the discrimination undertones of the movie. It's a modern classic and I'm fairly certain It shall be remembered.

I love Zootopia. I like how is portrays anthropomorphic animals and I love the messages about things like being anything you want to be and racism undertones.

I remember it for how awful the movie was (in my opinion)

Anyone who says it's overrated is lying

15 Cinderella (1950)
16 Tangled
17 101 Dalmatians (1961)

I really love this movie. I think it has got something very special to it

18 The Hunchback of Notre Dame

My personal favorite movie from Disney! Dark and emotional with a twist of Tony Jay makes an enjoyable creation.

Tony Jay was AWESOME in it.

19 The Jungle Book

How in the world is this movie at this rank!

Should be much higher. Vote please.

20 Coco

I'm so bamboozled as why this is down here, but I don't really care, since I'm not a big fan of Disney. I at least thought it would beat The Hunchback of Notre Dame

This movie truly was unforgettable and very moving. I love the message it sends.

21 Big Hero 6

One of the best movie I've seen.

22 The Incredibles

This, by far, is one of my favorite Disney movies.
can't believe that its down this far...

Why is this below Cool Runnings?

Better than cars 2 and avengers

23 Bambi
24 Cool Runnings

I actually loved this film when I was little. when the boys crashed in the finals that got me shocked and yelling "GET UP don't DIE PLEASE" and when they stood up and walked they got me screaming of joy and relief
