Top Ten Most Unique Koopalings from Super MarioDCfnaf The Koopalings have been getting way more notice recently. I really like the Koopalings and I would now tie all of them as my 3rd favorite Mario character. Yeah, I love the Koopalings. So which Koopalings are the most unique/creative/interesting? Let's find out. (For 9-10 I just added Boom Boom and Pom Pom for the hell of it. I will also be counting Bowser Jr as a Koopaling. Also, I hate Koopa Kid)
The Top Ten
You might be saying,"How is he unique? He's just a clone of Bowser! " He's not a clone of Bowser, he is his SON. Bowser Jr's fights are all COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the Koopalings. Bowser Jr's machines are awesome, and his Super Mario Galaxy 2 fights are the most memorable. How does that kid build this stuff? He must have a ton of free time! He is also the most developed as a character/villain. His true intention as a villain is to please his father, not kill the Mario Bros. This makes Bowser Jr a unique villain in terms of motives as well. I think Bowser Jr deserves much more love than he gets. - DCfnaf
What makes Bowser Jr unique is how he has character. He can be bratty and spoiled, but Junior loves his father and goes out of his way for his old man. This was seen right from the beginning. Even though Bowser tricked his son into believing Peach is his mother, Bowser Jr figured out it was a lie and went on to take Peach for Bowser(and he wanted to challenge Mario). Bowser Jr is also the funloving kid of the group. With the koopalings I can't really say what they're truly are. Those seven just act on a specific character trait.
His boss battles make him unique. He's the only koopa who leans towards science and technology. The boy builds robots and he's apparently smarter than his father to some degree.
I like how Bowser Jr. builds machines instead of using a wand like the koopalings. We already have Kamek as the main wand wielder.V 8 Comments
She's so underrated. - Randomator
The only female Koopaling. Enough said?
COME AT ME HATERS. Wendy is one of the most unique Koopalings! First of all, she was unique from the very beginning. She was the only Koopaling in the original who shot rings. She's also the only Koopaling other than Iggy and Ludwig that I struggled with in New Super Mario Bros U. I'm glad that we have a female villain in the Mario Series since there aren't too many nowadays. I know people hate her because of the T.V. show, but Morton and Iggy were also annoying in the T.V. show yet they receive no hate. Wendy is a GOOD CHARACTER and a UNIQUE KOOPALING. - DCfnaf
Larry. The most bland and unoriginal koopaling of the bunch. There's literally nothing unique about him. His color scheme is a lighter version of Ludwig. His hair style is similar to Lemmy and even Morton has star tattoo similar to Larry. Unlike the others he has no unique boss battles. He just shakes his wand and spins in his shell. And you might think well he's the warmup boss. No he's in world 3-4 in NSMBU - Randomator
Larry deserves to be number 8 on this list because he is NOT UNIQUE IN ANY ASPECT OTHER THAN APPEARANCE. Since he's not unique or interesting, he is my least favorite Koopaling. Every single one of his fights involves him hopping around and shooting his wand, we jumped on his head and he spun in his shell. That is EVERY FIGHT OF HIS. You could also say "He's the first boss so he must be basic". No. He's the third/fourth boss in New Super Mario Bros U and he does the SAME THING. But wait, there's WATER STREAMS. AMAZING. -_- - DCfnaf
did you not know that Larry is actually LESS generic than Ludwig is?
Ludwig has just the basic Koopaling stuff
Larry has all that, plus a star tatoo.
OH! So a STAR TATTOO makes someone less generic? Ludwig has Beethoven hair and a personality. Larry has nothing. I honestly don't give a crap if Ludwig is your least favorite. You ain't changing my opinion. - DCfnaf
I can't believe you people think Larry Is underrated! I see him high on Koopaling lists all the time! And you can't tell me he has more personality than Ludwig
Ludwig - self proclaimed leader, VERY OBVIOUS personality in Paper Jam, pompous, arrogant, snobby, composes symphonies, most powerful
Larry - Absolutely nothing.
Sorry, but that's it. And apparently I'm a twelve year old for liking Ludwig. Let's be honest, the Larry Fans are five. No hate to the ones that like Ludwig AND Larry but the ones that attack Ludwig Fans because Larry is their favorite need to stop. - DCfnaf
Iggy is very unique. He is WAY crazier than Lemmy and his design is completely unique and weird. He's basically the lanky weirdo of the bunch that doesn't seem to fit in. His hair is very strange and kinda reminds me of the mandrakes from Harry Potter. I love how crazy he is and how unique his boss battles are. In New Super Mario Bros Wii and 2, he rides a chain chomp instead of shell spin or shoot his wand. It's a very unique concept for a Mario boss. He is also one of the toughest bosses in New Super Mario Bros U along with Wendy in my opinion. I mean, he can create BLARGGS for crying out loud! I don't have much else to say for Iggy other than I love his battles, personality, and appearance. - DCfnaf
Who doesn't like Iggy?
I really love his laugh. It's so evil! - Wereweegee
You should not be surprised, as Ludwig is my favorite Koopaling. I love Ludwig's evil appearance and voice. He is also said to be the smartest Koopaling (yes, even smarter than Bowser Jr). I also love his hair and how it looks almost identical to Ludwig Van Beethoven. (He is based off him). His fights are almost ALWAYS different. In Super Mario 3, he creates shockwaves. In Super Mario World, he shoot fire and shell spins. In New Super Mario Bros Wii, you fight him on very fast, small, moving platforms and he flutters. In New Super Mario Bros 2, he swings on cables and shoots his wand. In New Super Mario Bros U, he FLOATS and CLONES himself! Ludwig is awesome and is the most unique Koopaling in my opinion. - DCfnaf
Downtown Abbey is his favorite show
Ludwig is my favorite koopaling. If I were a koopaling I would be him. Ludwig, unlike the others (except Jr) actually has something different for every boss battle. He can flutter jump, meditate in midair, make clones of himself and so much more. Also I like his hair style as it actually gives the nod to betoven himself. - RandomatorV 3 Comments
Lemmy is like the coolest ever and you should make him watch Disney Channel. It will make him even cuter.
Lemmy just start by saying that Lemmy is super cute (get it? )! He provides some of the most entertaining boss battles. My favorite was the battle in New Super Mario Bros Wii where you actually needed to use your jumping abilities to get on top of Lemmy's massive ball. Other than that, he's kind of easy and basic. But hey, at least he's TRYING to be unique. ;). A lot of people compare him to Larry, so I will also. He's Larry if he had a personality and unique battles (BUUURRNNN). - DCfnaf
Larry and Lemmy look way different from each other, you'd have to be real ' dumb to think they look exactly the same, oh they both have bulgy eyes, LOGIC BITCH, I might as well use this same logic with Ludwig and Morton since they have the same eyes, how about this "Morton is Ludwig, If Ludwig had any personality".V 1 Comment
Morton is unique because his design is completely different from the rest and his fights are generally different. The only fight I hated from him was his original fight because it was too easy. Other than that, his fights are almost always different. In Super Mario World, he'd climb up the wall. In New Super Mario Bros Wii, he has skewers surrounding him, causes shockwaves, and spins his shell REALLY FAST. In New Super Mario Bros 2, he stomps, creates giant spiked balls, and when he spins in his shell, his direction is changed by those spiky balls. In New Super Mario Bros U, he stomps the ground and uses his hammer to hit Pokey segments in your general direction. The only problem he has is that he prefers brawn over brains. Other than that, Morton is awesome. - DCfnaf
Morton is Ludwig, But with Personality
The Funky Kong for Mario Kart 8 on Wii U - ToadF1
I know Roy can stomp the ground and produce a shockwave, but Morton and Ludwig can do the same thing. In my opinion, Roy doesn't have too many interesting qualities to be considered unique. Sure, he's pink and he wears sunglasses, but Wendy is also Pink. Roy is just a boring character in my opinion and is just not that unique. - DCfnaf
Besides, pink is a more feminine color. I really don't know what to think of him. - Wereweegee
Roy and Larry are probably the most bland of the bunch. There really is nothing unique about him. He's basically Morton with a pink head, sunglasses, purple shell and yellow skin. Just slightly smarter - Randomator
Wrestling is his favorite show
He's not really a Koopaling, but I figured I would put someone at 10. - DCfnaf
From Mario Party.
She's not really a Koopaling but I figured I would put someone at 9. - DCfnaf
He shouldn't be on this list, but I find it unique that he threw hammers. And Ludwig, he sounds like a man.
Who the heck is Dark Koopa? Is he from Mario and Luigi: BIS? - DCfnaf
