Top 10 Most Unrealistic Anime Couples
These are the couples that you just find too unrealistic to actually ever happen. They either have so chemistry together or are so bad to each other that it's baffling how they got together in the first place. And no these don't have to be canon, they can be absurd ships that you see on the internet. Please remember that this is my opinion on these certain ships. You're free to add in your own. I'll put in my ten choices and the rest is up to you.
It's impossible to believe Sasuke loves, or even likes, her, after not contacting his supposed "wife" and daughter for 10 years, not even a call or a letter. They don't even have a photo together as a couple. Sakura had to use the photo of another woman. Sasuke doesn't even want to kiss, or, at the very least, to show some gesture of affection to her, after being away for 10 years and going again on another journey.
And Sakura accepts all of this! She still looks like a smitten teenager in love with her crush. Her fans praise this idiocy of Sakura's as if it means her love is very faithful. Her "love", and Sasuke and Sakura's relationship is, fortunately, unrealistic.
Misa is supposed to be 'smart', but she can't catch a clue that Light doesn't like her. All he has to do is give her a meaningless kiss, and she's his, damn slave. She'll be held kidnapped if it means protecting her dear Light, even though he uses her. And she doesn't mind that at all.
I didn't like it, but it's not supposed to be liked. It was toxic on purpose, but Sasuke × Sakura is, believe it or not, supposed to be "healthy" and "realistic." What a joke!
This one is just confusing. I don't see why it's so popular among Yaoi enthusiasts. I understand why certain anime characters are shipped together in other series, but these two show no mutual interest or chemistry to be considered a couple. Please, don't send me hate comments accusing me of homophobia. I have friends who are gay, lesbian, and bisexual. I acknowledge there's nothing inherently wrong with Yaoi or Yuri couples. This pairing is just puzzling in its popularity.
I never have understood this pairing. First, there's the age difference: Levi is in his 30s while Eren is 15. Levi and Eren seem to really hate each other, like that one scene where Levi beat the crap out of Eren. Also, Mikasa would never let this happen. She'd probably kill Levi.
She's paired with many guys, but Ayato seems to be the most popular one. This guy constantly calls her names and tries to suck her blood. Yet, Yui doesn't fight back against him at all? Any girl who found out they were in a mansion with a bunch of vampires would run for their lives. Yui doesn't because of the plot. The male lead is a creep who assaults Yui within the first few minutes of the anime, and Yui doesn't have the courage to ever stand up against his cruel actions.
This couple may be unrealistic, but in the end, these two are the only ones that actually suit each other. Had Yui been with any of the other brothers, it would have been a failed relationship instantly.
Apparently, when it's a woman who doesn't believe in full consent, it's okay.
Ash has shown no interest in girls in his life, and if he did, Serena would be the last person he would date. She's always whining, always getting herself into trouble, never stops fawning over him, and she never shuts up. Would anyone want a girlfriend like that?
I honestly think Serena is annoying. Ash has all these girls liking him. I honestly think Dawn would be a good match with him.
I can't believe these two ended up becoming a real couple. If a male ended up treating his girlfriend like a dog, you would be disgusted by it. But in this anime, we're supposed to find it charming? That's the vibe I got. Erika clearly hates being treated like this but doesn't stop him because she wants to have friends. And pretending to date Kyouya is the only way to assure that. It's really sad and unrealistic.
Ichigo was clueless to Orihime's feelings, and she was just clingy. How these two ended up together is beyond me.
Because it makes sense that two people with no chemistry whatsoever get together, right?

What girl would take this guy back? He flat out dumps her, doesn't show up to see her when she needs it, and on top of all that, he has sex with several other females. Why would she still think he's her boyfriend and forgive him after all the crap he's done? It's just out of nowhere and makes the anime even less tolerable.
Not to mention the fact that she beheads her boyfriend after finding out she was cheated on, and cuts open the stomach of his side chick, who claimed to be pregnant and that the baby was his.
They could've been great together if they actually had some development. Naruto literally fell in love with her over the duration of a movie, and she was just obsessed with him.
Basically one-sided. Nobody knows if Naruto even really likes her.
I just don't understand how they got together. because in naruto hinata would never talk to naruto. there was not a lot interactions between the two. AND IT JUST SO HAPPENS that they get married and kids.
This couple sends a horrible message: "If you stalk and constantly harass your crush with your unhealthy, obsessive actions, they'll eventually grow to like you!" Just... no.
Please, they don't match each other at all. If I let all of you GruVia shippers read the script of Fairy Tail, you would be avoiding this ship.
She dehumanizes him, treating him like an animal. She once made him go without food for a while, and made him sleep on straw on the floor while she slept in a huge comfy bed. He was taken from his world against his will and treated horribly. At least some of the other characters treated him better, and he goes and marries a rage-aholic. Don't buy it, sorry.
Would any male honestly date a girl who kidnaps you from home, takes away your meal privileges, and beats you like a slave? I'm sure most would say no. Yet in the end, he chooses her to marry. Out of all the nice sweet girls, he chose her. Why?
Look...this is a perfect example of not a romantic relationship but a sibling relationship. I could literally imagine Mikasa calling Eren "bro."
Mikasa was clinging to him the entire first season, whereas he just kept ignoring her. A very unrealistic pairing indeed.
If she wasn't his adopted sister, I would be fine with this couple.

Luffy is asexual! The thought of him in a romantic relationship, let alone with one of his nakama, is really disturbing to me.

It's mid to me. I have not really shipped them because that would be a bit of an abusive relationship, like how Sakura constantly punches Naruto on the head in most of the episodes.
Todoroki has shown more signs of being asexual/aromantic. So, I don't see him having a relationship with Momo. He's just a good person.

Frobin (Franky x Robin) is a better pairing and makes more sense than ZoroBin and any other pair with Robin. Super! A true pairing/couple is supposed to be more than just looking better and having some stuff in common.

I have no idea why this is popular. First of all, Roy is like in his 30s while Ed is 15. Second of all, they both have a big rivalry. Ed hates his guts. Finally, Roy may care for Ed, but that's more of a father-son relationship than a couple. Now take it or leave it. This is the worst and most unrealistic couple.
Ew. A 15-year-old in a relationship with a 29-30 year old. There is no evidence of this ship, not even a bit. They are just friends who find each other annoying. If Edward or Roy saw this, they'd probably be done with life.
