Has it all from a long and differing seacoast to beautiful hills and incredibly dangerous and beautiful Sierras. Add the valleys where wine is grown and you've have something for everyone. Like Disneyland it cannot be seen in a brief time limit.
There's amusement parks, beaches, national parks, historical landmarks, cultural centers, and more. Plus, your vacation probably won't be interrupted by bad weather, since it's almost always sunny in California.
It's fun if you're a visitor, but very boring if you actually live here. There's also the fact that I'm basically allergic to the sun and get sunburned easily, so going outside on sunny days is hell.

The best state to go to the beaches, and theme parks within the same state. The beaches of Western Florida are soft and sandy and so beautiful. Florida is a peninsula surrounded by beaches with sunrises AND sunsets. Can you get both sunrises AND sunsets anywhere else?
The best. We New Yorkers are honest, bold and helpful. People from ALL over come to visit NY. I live here and you won't believe how many tourists I see here every day.
