Top Ten US States That Should Be Deleted from the Map

The Top Ten
1 Mississippi Mississippi is a southern U.S. state with the Mississippi River to its west, the state of Alabama to its east, and the Gulf of Mexico to the south.

Almost every state has a purpose to be in the US... except Mississippi. Most people there are racist rednecks, the schools and hospitals there are just bad, poverty and crime is high, and every state just does better

No state should be deleted, for they all have there role. But there are some who are less important than others, so I'll have to go with Mississippi. There are states that do better than them at what they do.

Every state is important, and if its not, I would not bad a state.

2 North Dakota North Dakota is the 39th state of the United States, having been admitted to the union on November 2, 1889.

North Dakota produces 25% of the Nations beans, 35% Navy Beans 46% Pinto Beans, 83% of the Nations Canola. 22% of the nations honey. North Dakota has Hydro Electric Dam, Coal power Plants, and Wind Farms. Most of the Electricity is exported to other states. North Dakota pumps out a million barrels of oil a day which goes to gas refinery's in other states. There over 12,000 job openings in North Dakota as of July 2017. And if the paid protesters stay way, things are pretty calm.

A randomized survey conducted by the National Jury Project (NJP) concluded it is highly likely that the over six hundred water protectors facing criminal charges in the coming months will not receive fair trials from petit jurors impaneled in Morton and Burleigh Counties.

If North Dakota was deleted from the map, the U.S would lose over 4,000 nuclear bombs.

South Dakota is famous for their Mt. Rushmore. North Dakota is... Iunno.

3 Wyoming Wyoming is a state in the mountain region of the Western United States. The state is the tenth largest by area, but the least populous and the second least densely populated of the 50 United States.

Wyoming is the least populated with 532,668 people. It should not be deleted because less population means less crazyness. Madison, Wisconsin where I live is more then half the population of Wyoming. And they probably just like to keep miles and miles of extra land. Look at some pictures of Wyoming. Its nice

Forgot that this is even a state. Probably the least populated.

Having a low population is a good thing, not a bad thing.

You just can't handle the cold. Nothing to see here, folks.

4 Rhode Island Rhode Island, officially the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, is a state in the New England region of the United States.

Only famous because of Family Guy. Too tiny, should be part of its surrounding state.

It should merge with Conneticutt, and California should split to north and south.

5 Alaska Alaska is a U.S. state situated in the northwest extremity of the Americas. The Canadian administrative divisions of British Columbia and Yukon border the state to the east; it has a maritime border with Russia to the west across the Bering Strait.

It should be part of Canada, because it is completely seperated from the U.S. The same thing with Hawaii, except Hawaii makes some more sense. But if Hawaii is a state, WHY NOT Puerto Rico!

TheMainReason, you are an idiot. Alaska is just over 2 miles away from Russia. Canada does not "own" Alaska whatsoever.

Dafreak?! Its not even part of American land. Canada should take Alaska. They technically own it.

Idiotic statement.
That region WAS "owned" by Russia, and the US bought it.
Plain and simple, done deal.

6 Arkansas Arkansas is a state located in the Southeastern region of the United States. Its name is of Siouan derivation, denoting the Quapaw Indians.

Just nuke this entire toilet of a state off of the map.

7 Nebraska Nebraska is a state that lies in both the Great Plains and the Midwestern United States. Its state capital is Lincoln.

Not known for anything, well maybe except for being the most productive food-producing area on the planet earth. Do you eat food?

Not even known for anything.

8 Oregon Oregon is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Oregon is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean, on the north by Washington, on the south by California, on the east by Idaho, and on the southeast by Nevada.

Maybe shoulda been higher.

9 Florida Florida is a state located in the southeastern region of the United States. Florida is the southeasternmost U.S. state, with the Atlantic on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other.
10 Nevada Nevada is a state in the Western, Mountain West, and Southwestern regions of the United States of America.

Outside of Vegas what does Nevada have? Desert?

The Contenders
11 Kansas Kansas is a U.S. state located in the Midwestern United States. It is named after the Kansa Native American tribe, which inhabited the area.

Most of these states only have their movies to thank.

12 Oklahoma
13 Minnesota Minnesota is a state in the Midwestern United States. Minnesota was admitted as the 32nd state on May 11, 1858, created from the eastern half of the Minnesota Territory.

WOAH WOAH! What the hell did we do to end up here?! Maybe look closer and you can see that MN has more things than you think!

Why do I keep thinking about Pepsi when I here this?

14 South Carolina South Carolina is a state in the southeastern region of the United States. The state is bordered to the north by North Carolina, to the south and west by Georgia across the Savannah River, and to the east by the Atlantic Ocean.
15 Alabama Alabama is a state located in the southeastern region of the United States. It is bordered by Tennessee to the north, Georgia to the east, Florida and the Gulf of Mexico to the south, and Mississippi to the west.

Worst State Ever With Racist Conservative Rednecks. It is also a very ugly state. Only state I don’t like.

16 West Virginia West Virginia is a state located in the Appalachian region of the Southern United States. It is bordered by Pennsylvania to the north, Maryland to the east and northeast, Virginia to the southeast, Kentucky to the southwest, and Ohio to the northwest. West Virginia is the 41st largest state by area, and is ranked 38th in population. The capital and largest city is Charleston.

Needs to just be declared as part of Virginia already. The only reason they are a extra part of the USA.

I like West Virginia, it's really beautiful.

17 Texas Texas is a state in the Southern USA. It is the second largest by area and population. Its largest city is Houston.

Stupid rednecks!

18 New York New York is a state located in the Mid-Atlantic Region. New York was one of the original thirteen colonies that formed the United States. With an estimated 19.54 million residents in 2018, it is the fourth most populous state. In order to distinguish the state from the city with the same name, it is sometimes referred to as New York State.
19 New Mexico
20 Georgia Georgia is a state located in the southeastern United States. It was established in 1732, the last of the original Thirteen Colonies.
21 Vermont
22 Montana Montana is a state in the Western region of the United States. The state's name is derived from the Spanish word montaña.

There's nothing even there!

23 California California is a state in the Southwestern United States. With 39.6 million residents across a total area of about 163,696 square miles (423,970 square kilometers), California is the most populous U.S. state and the third-largest by area. The state capital is Sacramento, and the largest city is Los Angeles.

Most of the people who want to get rid of California are Republican muggles. I'm not saying that all Republicans want to. by the way I'm not American.

California should not even exist. We would be better off without it.

Want to see a liberal freak show up close? Move to California!

We could use a lot less liberal hogwash.

24 Colorado Colorado is a state in the United States encompassing most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains.
