The Top Ten

1 Dora the Explorer Dora the Explorer Dora the Explorer is an 2000 American educational animated TV series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner.

It teaches Spanish, but the words are so bland and repetitive. All they teach you is how to count to 10 and other basic stuff that almost everyone already knows. Characters also aren't good either. The show features a little girl and monkey going on adventures WITHOUT THEIR PARENTS. The main "villain" is Swiper, a dumb fox who tries to steal their things in every episode. - xMagnoblade

People try to defend the show saying it teaches Spanish. It only shows like what... 5% of Spanish per episode. Even if it showed more 2 year olds wouldn't even notice the educational bits. - KingFab

Every episode is repetitive and the cartoon barely teaches anything that kids don't already know except a couple of Spanish words but they might as well use Rosetta Stone because they won't get too far with the language if they try and use this as a main source. I don't know if this or the one where she's a teenager is worse. - Mcgillacuddy

Everything bad about Dora: Well, everything!
A clueless child who goes on "adventures" to "save the world". The protagonist should be interesting and fun to learn more about but I have to say, I'm suprised. The animation doesn't match up with the wording { if you look closer you'll notice } and the antagonist is even more of a sad character. There's nothing' evil 'bout Swiper! Telling him to go away doesn't mean he will! I understand that she asks the viewers { if there is any } about something that's in front of her to get kids to learn, but since Dora is amazing in a child's eye she'll be their role model and kids will do stupid stuff like that. I loved this show but it I wouldn't watch it even if I eat marshmellows for dinner. I totes respect anyone who likes it, but I just don't

2 Teletubbies Teletubbies Teletubbies is a British pre-school children's television series created by Ragdoll Productions' Anne Wood CBE and Andrew Davenport, who wrote each of the show's 365 episodes .

I don't even see any educational value in Teletubbies. All the show is about is four Teletubbies who do nothing but eat and play under a sun that has a baby for a face. On the bright side, at least it's not as bad as Barney and Friends and Dora the Explorer. Still, Teletubbies sucks. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Oh people whine that there's no education, conflict. Maybe the Teletubbies is better for relaxation.

Teletubbies, that show you thought was about space aliens trying to invite your brain... - ARandomPerson

It's a rip off of fanboy and chum chum

This show should not be here. I was a child back when Barney was a brand new show and it was very beneficial to my learning. So few of the people who even use this site were even alive during this show's prime years so where is this judgement coming from? Even during it's later years the show was beneficial to children's learning. Don't just follow the crowd when you vote on this list. Vote against a show that WAS actually useless like 'Yo Gabba Gabba' or something. - BKAllmighty

Does anyone even remember anything good of educational value that came out of this stupid live-action kids show atrocity? - ModernSpongeBobSucks

I know the name of the show is Little Einsteins, but trying to teach world culture and the arts to little kids is a bit TOO COMPLICATED, don't you think?! I know it's trying to be useful, but it's actually rather useless if the show is on a more advanced level than what little kids watch for an educational television program! - ModernSpongeBobSucks

This show is probably even more useless than Dora. It teaches NOTHING WHATSOEVER. Just how to count along (which I'm sure the children watching this already know how to do) with the characters being unrealistically dumb. - xMagnoblade
