The Top Ten
1 The Great Mighty Poo - Conker's Bad Fur Day The Great Mighty Poo is a fictional character appearing in the 2001 video game Conker's Bad Fur Day. He is a giant, opera-singing pile of feces that appears as a boss in the sloprano chapter.
2 Sephiroth - Final Fantasy VII Sephiroth is a fictional character and main antagonist in the role-playing video game Final Fantasy VII developed by Square.
3 Dark Bowser - Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

The actual character is basically a joke character whose only real purpose is to be an excuse for his game to feature a Bowser VS Bowser mirror match and make its final boss battle slightly longer than it would have been if he had not been in it. But his theme song (In The Final) COMPLETELY defines the word "epic," despite it mostly being Fawful's theme song in reality.

4 The Masked Man - Mother 3

The actual character is a completely shameless and uninteresting Darth Vader clone and has a secret identity that can easily be seen coming from at least fifty miles away. However, if you want to instantly show someone what it feels like to be extremely intimidated by a video game boss, make him/her fight this game's version of Darth Vader while Battle Against The Masked Man (or a faster and weirder version of Strong One) plays in the background.

5 Baby Bowser - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Baby Bowser, referred to simply as Bowser, is the infant version of Mario's arch-nemesis Bowser, and the main antagonist of the Yoshi's Island series.

SMW 2's Big Boss theme music already is downright-incredibly badass to begin with (and plays during the first phase of the game's Baby Bowser fight, while Baby Bowser himself is busy being a total joke boss)...

...but then Kamek causes Baby Bowser to become Godzilla-sized, which would normally be an extremely generic thing for Bowser to become but is backed by some of THE most ludicrously manly music on Earth in SMW 2

6 Flak - Advance Wars

I fear no man, but the theme song of this utterly pathetic joke character...
...it could have much-more-fittingly belonged to Metroid's SA-X

7 Neo Cortex - Crash Bandicoot Dr. Neo Periwinkle Cortex is the main antagonist of the Crash Bandicoot game series who is depicted as a mad scientist who seeks world domination.

His original theme song from Crash 1 sounds about as Terminator-esque as video game music can get, and do not even get me started about how much said song evolves in Crash 2 and Crash 3;
as for HIM, however, he is a ridiculously incompetent clown who is one of the most obnoxiously stereotypical villains ever and is fought in some of THE lamest and easiest final boss battles ever (Crash 2's Cortex Chase and Mind Over Mutant's N. Credible Hulk both immediately come to mind)

8 Kraid - Metroid
9 Master Hand - Super Smash Bros
10 Dan Hibiki - Street Fighter
The Contenders
11 N. Tropy - Crash Bandicoot
12 King Dedede - Kirby King Dedede is a fictional character and the primary antagonist of the Kirby series of video games owned by Nintendo and HAL Laboratory.
13 Dr. Wily - Mega Man Doctor Wily, full name Albert W. Wily, is a video game character and the main antagonist of the original Mega Man series.
14 Porky - Earthbound
15 Balrog - Street Fighter Balrog, also known as Boxer, is a fictional character in Capcom's Street Fighter series. He made his first appearance in Street Fighter II: The World Warrior in 1991.
16 Guile - Street Fighter Guile is a character in Capcom's Street Fighter series of fighting games. He debuted as one of the original eight characters in 1991's Street Fighter II and appeared in the game's subsequent updates.
17 King K. Rool - Donkey Kong Country King K. Rool is a fictional anthropomorphic crocodile and the main antagonist of Nintendo's Donkey Kong video game franchise, as well as the archenemy of Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong.
18 Tabuu - Super Smash Bros Brawl
19 Chop Chop Master Onion - Parappa the Rapper
20 Sans - Undertale Sans or Sans the Skeleton is a character in the 2015 RPG Undertale created by Toby Fox. He is a lazy, pun-loving skeleton who is a supporting protagonist in the "pacifist" and "neutral" routes of Undertale, and a heroic antagonist/final boss of the "genocide" route. He is known for his incredibly difficult boss fight, bad puns, and the phrases "geeetttt dunked on!!!" and "you're gonna have a bad time." He is also named after the font "comic sans." Known for also being Ness from the Mother series. (known as Earthbound in Western territories.)
21 Papyrus - Undertale Papyrus is a character from the 2015 game Undertale, made by Toby Fox. He is the Younger brother of Sans the skeleton, royal guard in training, and a sentry in the town of Snowdin. Opposite to his brother, papyrus is active, loud, and full of himself; but in an endearing way. Papyrus means to become ...read more.
22 The Amalgamates - Undertale Amalgamates are a group of characters in the video game "Undertale." They are created through experiments combining different creatures and objects, resulting in bizarre and unsettling forms. The Amalgamates are a reflection of the game's themes of compassion and the consequences of scientific manipulation. Their presence adds a haunting atmosphere to the game's underground world.
23 Speed Buster - No More Heroes

Despite having a giant nuclear laser cannon shopping trolley, this late game boss has possibly the worst "fight" in the game. In spite of that though, the boss theme has rocking heavy guitars, and sets a really imposing presence (albeit for an easy boss).

24 Jugger - Advance Wars
25 Air Man - Mega Man 2
