Top 10 Video Game Characters Who Would Be Most Surprising to Be Featured as a Playable Fighter in a Future Super Smash Bros. Game

Since Super Smash Bros Brawl the franchise is no longer limited to just Nintendo characters as we've see to our surprise many 3rd party characters have managed to be featured in later installments like Brawl, Smash 4 and Ultimate and for this list we look at some of the characters from video games either from Non Nintendo franchises or Nintendo franchises that would be the most surprising to be featured as a playable character in a future Super Smash Bros game, for this reason only characters who originated from a video game are allowed on the list.
The Top Ten
1 NiGHTS - NiGHTS into dreams
2 Crash Bandicoot - Crash Bandicoot Crash Bandicoot is a video game franchise of platform video games. The series, originally exclusive to the Sony PlayStation, was created by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin during their tenure at Naughty Dog for Sony Computer Entertainment.

Super Smash Bros already have Solid Snake, Sonic the hedgehog, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Bayonetta, Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter, Simon and Ricter Belmont and Cloud from Final Fantasy in the series the ultimate icing on the cake would be for Smash to bring in Sony's top 3 mascots from the original PlayStation Crash Bandicoot, Spyro The Dragon and Lara Croft.

I think he and Spyro were supposed to be in All Stars, but the greedy pigs at Activision asked for WAY too much money.
Let's hope they don't do the same to Nintendo.

SSB already has solid Snake, Sonic, Pacman, mega man, and others. this would be good

3 Lara Croft - Tomb Raider (1996)

PlayStation All Star already missed a huge opportunity to put Lara Croft in imagine if Nintendo wanting to stick it to Sony actually decided to add Lara to the Smash roster, and wouldn't be a dream match to see Lara Croft going up against Samus Aran both who are Nintendo and Sony's first major female heroines for their first major game systems.

She was supposed to be in PSAS, but Square Enix wanted to release their Tomb Raider game before she was in the game, and by that time All Stars stopped supporting DLC.

4 Spyro - Spyro the Dragon Spyro is a series of platform games which primarily features the protagonist Spyro the Dragon and his friend, Sparx the Dragonfly.

Like Crash, he was supposed to be in All Stars, but he wasn't(but thankfully he wasn't or we'd get that Skylanders crap). I actually see him getting in Smash before Crash, because knowing Activision, they'd probably want him to promote when the Spyro game is ported to Switch.

5 Bonk - Bonk's Adventure
6 Jill Valentine - Resident Evil Jill Valentine is a fictional character from the Resident Evil series first appearing in the first Resident Evil game in 1996 as one of the two playable characters, she would also go on to star in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
7 Alex Kidd - Alex Kidd Alex Kidd is a video game character whose popularity peaked during the late 1980s and who was the protagonist of both a series of video games released by Sega and their fictional universe, as well as in numerous spin-off merchandise such as novelizations and comics.

Though almost nobody remembers Sega's original mascot before Sonic it would be really surprisng to see Alex Kidd get into smash.

I doubt that he'll ever be in, since Sega barely even cares about him.

8 Rabbids - Rayman Raving Rabbids

No, Just no, People like rabbids and bubsy don't belong in smash.

9 Serval - Kemono Friends
10 Pink Gold Peach - Mario Kart Pink Gold Peach is a character who debuts in Mario Kart 8, where she appears as an unlockable playable character.
The Contenders
11 Kyubi - Yo-Kai Watch
12 Ivy - Soul Cailbur Isabella Valentine, commonly called Ivy, is a fictional character in the Soulcalibur series of video games.

Given that they refuse to even acknowledge Mai Shiranui's existence and their alleged reasons despite BAYONETTA'S continued presence...

13 Sal Fisher - Sally Face
14 Bubsy - Bubsy Bubsy is a series of platforming video games created by Michael Berlyn and developed and published by Accolade. The games star an anthropomorphic bobcat named Bubsy, a character that takes inspiration from Super Mario Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog.

The day Bubsy makes it into Smash is the day hell freezes over.

15 Yosafire - Okegom
16 Peter Pepper - Burger Time
17 Jibanyan - Yo Kai Watch

He would fit SO well in smash. His final smash could be his Paws Of Fury

He would fit in SO much. Yo Kai Watch is smash would be amazing

I can honestly see him as a fighter. I really want to see Jibanyan vs Pikachu

18 Bass - Mega Man

We need more Mega Man characters. And Bass in smash would work out pretty well

19 Scorpion - Mortal Kombat Scorpion is a recurring player character and occasional boss character from the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. His debut is in the first Mortal Kombat game.

I don't think Nintendo would want a character from a game known for it's extreme amount of blood and gore in a kids game.

Now that would really be shocking.

20 Proto Man - Mega Man Proto Man, known in Japan as Blues, is a fictional character from Capcom's Mega Man video game series.

Even thought he was a troph, Proto Man deserves a chance to be in smash

21 Soma Cruz - Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow

Since Simon and Richter are in, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to let Soma join

22 Fulgore - Killer Instinct Fulgore is a player character in the Killer Instinct series of fighting games by Rare. Fulgore was introduced in the original Killer Instinct in 1994 as an advanced fighting cyborg and a nemesis of the protagonist Jago.

A killer robot from a Nintendo/Rareware/Midway arcade fighter? Why not?

23 Master Chief - Halo Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, more commonly known as the Master Chief, is a SPARTAN-II commando of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command. He is the protagonist and main character in both the Halo trilogy and Reclaimer Saga.
24 Trevor Belmont - Castlevania

He could be an assist trophy, but being playable would be acceptable

25 Waluigi - Mario Tennis Waluigi is a lanky self-centered, brusque young lad as he is considered evil and the main rival of Luigi. Waluigi is shown causing local havoc in most games he appears in alongside his partner Wario. Waluigi is not instinctively evil or the antagonist (not counting DDR), as a matter of fact, he shows great compassion for his fellow peers, typically for characters Daisy and Wario. Waluigi is also described as lonely, rejected, sad, or depressed due to his relationship with the Super Smash Bros. franchise, and people outside of Nintendo continually rejecting him. In recent years, people have come to Waluigi's defense, giving him support and even starting a cult following. In sum, Waluigi is the ...read more.

Please put Waluigi in smash PLEASE
