Top 10 Video Game Franchises That Should Have a Spiritual Successor

Two video game franchises are getting spiritual successor. Mega Man's successor is Mighty No. 9, and Banjo-Kazooie will succeeded by Project Ukulele. These video game franchises should get spiritual successors, too. It's time to move on.
The Top Ten
1 Spyro The Dragon Spyro is a series of platform games which primarily features the protagonist Spyro the Dragon and his friend, Sparx the Dragonfly.
2 Battle Toads

Here's my idea. FIGHTING FROGS

3 Crash Bandicoot
4 Croc The Crocodile

This crocodile first appeared in Croc:Legend Of The Gobbos, and its sequel Croc 2. Those are the only two games in his franchise. If we can't think of a new game for Croc, let's replace him with a new guy named Alex the Alligator. For Alex the Alligator, we should only make five video games for him because I don't want his franchise to be milked to death.

5 Sonic The Hedgehog Sonic the Hedgehog, trademarked Sonic The Hedgehog, is the title character and protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by SEGA, as well as numerous spin-off comics, five animated shows, and an animated OVA.
6 Earthworm Jim

Here's my idea. CAPTAIN CATTERPILLAR

7 PaRappa the Rapper

I'm sure they'll bring back the good old Parappa days. I know because I GOTTA BELIEVE!

8 Mario Kart

This series is totally cool. Nintendo's recent Mario Kart game is Mario Kart 8. The best thing about it is that there's DLC characters that include non-Mario characters like Link from the Legend Of Zelda, and the Villager from Animal Crossing. Maybe, Mario Kart 8 will be the last Mario Kart 8 game, and the spiritual successor for the Mario Kart series will be Super Smash Brothers Kart Racing. Now, doesn't that sound neat?
