Best Video Game Remakes (no Reboots, Remixes or Re-Releases)

A selection of the best straight up remakes in video gaming. Please do not include reboots for example Spyro Reignited Trilogy counts as it's a remake of the first three games, making it a remake. Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning doesn't count because it took characters and elements from the original and told a completely new story, making it a reboot. Remixes also don't count as they are just the original game with extra stuff added and no re-releases either as they are just the original game on newer consoles (so no Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for PS4)
