It is an improvement from the original gameplay-wise and is a lot funnier.
19 Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
It may be my opinion, but I always thought PM: TTYD was an improvement and good successor to the original PM even though I like the original, too. The Thousand Year Door is easily considered to be the best Paper Mario game; Not only I think this way but many other fans do, as well. Plus, Mini-Yoshi was awesome.
