Top 10 Best Video Games for Kids
Why not #1? You can create your own levels.
Minecraft is my favorite video game in the whole world. Creative mode can help people express their creativity through amazing builds. Minecraft Survival Mode taught me not to play it safe by going in Peaceful, where the most dangerous thing you can find in the normal world is lava or heights, but to challenge myself and face my strange fear of Minecraft monsters.
The possibilities of this game are endless!
If you have never played Minecraft, you have my word: Although there may be some cartoony violence and sword-swinging, I can assure you it is perfectly appropriate for elementary school kids. Parents should let their kids play this. No blood, no cursing (unless you go on a multiplayer server without a chat filter), and little fear involved.
The monsters may be scary at times (they were very scary to me), but one of the good things about Minecraft is that it helps people face fears. If you're afraid of spiders in real life, kill a few spiders in Minecraft, and arachnophobia goes bye-bye.
I love playing Minecraft, and you should too. It's perfectly appropriate for young kids, and it teaches some important life lessons. Thank you, and I hope this review means something to you. I hope my perspective gave you a new view on the square world of Minecraft and maybe changed your opinion on it a bit.
