Top Ten Video Games and Game Franchises that Get Too Much Attention by Fanbases
These are just the games that have fanbases that overhype them to the extreme, whether it's a new installment to series coming out or they just can't shut up about the game. Also i like some of these games and series. They just get more attention than needed from their fanbases
Personally, I love this game. But I am not going to defend at every turn. It is in my opinion a great game, with a phenomenal animation style and good bosses. I would recommend it to someone personally.
Pretty much any indie 2D game that gets popular has a stupid fanbase that draws porn. There isn't any thing more that needs to be said, I mean there's Undertale, Bendy, Shantae, Shovel Knight and Cuphead. These games have some of the worst and most perverted fan arts I have seen

Now this game's great, One of the best free to play games ever out there along with Team Fortress 2 and Warframe, It's amazing. But it gets WAY too much attention, I can't disagree with that, The dances in real life videos are cringeworthy and awful, And people keep saying "I GOT A 500 KILL GAME! ", I don't care how many kills you get!, Not only that most of the youtubers are awful too, Thanks to the community this game is very controversial. The fanbase is just awful. Thanks a lot Ali-A and Durv!, you ruined this game for a bunch of people!
It is honestly more overrated than Smash, I mean it's not like everyone talks about Smash in school every single day, in fact I only know one more guy other than me from my class that is a nintendo fan, almost everyone in my class plays Fortnite except for a minority
Guys, winning a game of solo is not a monumental achievement. So stop posting your wins on some social media platform.

Holy crap, the fanbase is even worse than the worst game. They are basically a bunch of 5 to 9 year olds who spam the word "noob" in every combat game possible, and you're lucky if there's a kid who's mature enough to enjoy the game. But I also got into a feud with these four 7 year olds in skywars, and they raged and spammed the word "You're a hacker". Luckily I blocked them and their spammed messages can't be seen anymore. I just don't see the appeal for this game, It's all just a lag fest. Tried it on my friend's computer. I wanted to quit playing after a minute, The microtransactions in this game are even worse than fortnite's vbuck system (which isn't even that bad in my opinion)
Roblox is pay to win and full of scammers, trolls and people who are mean to you on the chat. I stopped playing because I was being spammed by 100 scammers and on one game, a player said to me, "get out of my sight or I will blacklist you, you ugly default skin."
Rubbish game, the character models all look like it was made by someone who has no taste in designing
The only reason people STILL care about Minecraft is because of mods and that's it, Every new Minecraft video is mainly mods which you can't get on PS4 or Xbox One, So console minecraft players like me are left with some mediocre decent minigames. Now Minecraft just gets boring. Like there's almost nothing to do without any world codes or mods

This game is excellent in my opinion, it makes you somewhat creative and the soundtrack is even more excellent!
Don't worry in a few years there will be a baby boomer so all these games will have good fanbases
People on the site about Fortnite being popular and talked about, But when ultimate comes out, It's considered the best game of 2018 already. (It's number 2 already on the list of best 2018 games and has more comments than God of War). But the fan base is just horrible. Waluigi sucks and is very ugly and is just made for filler. But the fans just make memes about Waluigi not being in the game. They also complain about Nintendo not nerfing certain characters.
This whole series is pretty overrated, never saw the appeal of it, I might get this one though, but I'm more hyped about Super Mario Party, Yoshi's Crafted World and way many other upcoming nintendo games
I honestly think that this is worse than Zelda's fanbase. At least Zelda fans don't scream their throats out whenever a new feature is announced. And E3 was more of a Smash fest than anything else.

Mainly Nintendrones overrate this series. I put this at number 1 over Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox and Overwatch because everyone this site thinks this series is the best ever, Every game from this series is 10/10, Now no, Not every game in this series is a masterpiece, I can say that because I have played The original first Legend Of Zelda, Twilight Princess (Wii), Wind Waker (Wii u), Ocarina of time (3DS), and Breath of the Wild (Wii U), so I have played pretty much enough games to judge this series, Now It's a good series, But the fans are terrible. It's not even the best Nintendo franchise Kirby and Mario are better to be honest. If you say one flaw about any Zelda game. Get ready for angry Nintendo fans because they're coming for you.
While I love this game series, the fans can go crazy. But then again, if you make any Nintendo game look bad, Nintendrones will kill you on social media.

I never saw the appeal, Other than just being a paid version of Team Fortress 2 with more anime styled characters. Now look I can see why people like it even though I don't, but best game of 2016? , Hell no, It's not better than Uncharted 4 or Dark Souls 3 by any means, Plus when this came out, Everyone attacked you if you didn't like it. I just could never get into this game

I like Call of Duty more the battlefield, Fight me, Mainly because of the zombies, and the campaigns are more fun, But yes Call of Duty gets too much attention. Mainly the sequels are the same every year, For example. Black ops 4 is the same as Black ops 3. But what did they do that was different? , Take out the main story, Like why would you take out the story? , The Story is mostly what takes to have a good game. So what they replace it with? , A flipping First person only version of PUBG!, Activision is just greedy, Not as much as EA though

I remember when this was really popular back in 2015, But to be honest I just avoided it, Because the game just seemed very boring. Many youtubers make a big deal out of this franchise, It doesn't even look that scary in reality. It's just a mediocre idea with a very disgusting fanbase
I liked the first one and Sister Location, the rest though? Not so much, the fourth one in particular was pretty bad
Now Mario is amazing and all. Great fun and colorful visuals. Fun gameplay, But Every main game has the same story. Yet they all get praise!, The main story is just peach gets kidnapped then mario goes into a bunch of different worlds then saves her!. At least Sonic tries to be more creative with the plot

Okay, I added this and should have clarified upon doing so. This refers to the series, not just the first game. The problem I have here is that most of the "Final Fantasy" games are the same thing: long and boring, like practically all RPGs are. However, the games are somehow near-universally acclaimed-the seventh one being particularly notorious-and I am sick of it. It gets attention it does not need or deserve at all. The hilariously/atrociously bad translations found in most JRPGs are simply icing on the cake.

Are you kidding? The Sonic fanbase is so disrespectful to the games, that Sega made a whole episode of Sonic Boom that made fun of the fans. Really only the Classic fans fall into this category.
