Top Ten Video Games that Should Have Been Included on the PlayStation Classic

Hey guys wanna guess what my top Christmas gift was this year that's right the PlayStation Classic, and I knew diving in the reception was gonna be panned, but hey some of the games they did select are defiantly memorable titles, but many others questionable choices with that here are some big titles they left out I felt could of been in the 20 collection.

The Top Ten

1 Spyro the Dragon

Insomniac would not be who they are now if it wasn't for the Dragon known as Spyro to have come out in the fall of 98' Like Crash it help span what Sony would become with their building blocks of creative franchises to come after this. - htoutlaws2012

2 Crash Bandicoot

Crash used to be Sony's mascot, so why isn't it on it? Was it too hard to get the rights? - myusernameisthis

While there is a re-mastered addition of all three games combined I would still have them in their original form for a new generation to appropriate what it did for its time what Naughty Dog did first before Uncharted came along there was Crash Bandicoot. - htoutlaws2012

Yes, you are right outlaw, the PSC is nothing without these games. - TriggerTrashKid

3 PaRappa the Rapper

Before there was ever Guitar Hero, or Rock Band to me you give credit to this game that made waves for rhythm games to eventually come into their own as a more known genre that it is now. - htoutlaws2012

4 Tomb Raider II

Tom Raider is still a every solid franchise still going, but the current one is by a different develop where here it was by Core Design. I say Two over the other ones because it holds up a bit better. - htoutlaws2012

5 Gran Turismo

To me if were including a lot of variety genre of games than there' no way you leave Gran Turismo another fan example of a long run Sony exclusive that help build the map of later acing game that would come of course. - htoutlaws2012

It bugs me that they didn't include the first game in their BEST SELLING franchise... - Drawbox

6 MediEvil

It was the year 98' perhaps some argue the best year for gaming in general, and with it Nintendo and Sony had great exclusive lineups of their own, but I did prefer Sony slightly more the expansion of having these new innovative title like MediEvil with a Halloween type vibe a forgotten exclusive that sadly may never return to the new generation very well, but a great renaissance tot hose who have played this and II were very good games for the console. - htoutlaws2012

7 Vagrant Story

A bit obscure great RPG title that would be a more preferred choice for a classic towards the end of the consoles run. excellent game that ranks up there with the like of Chrono Trigger, and a lot of those games that have that type of innovative style. - htoutlaws2012

8 Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

The reason I didn't buy the PS1 classic. Waste of time. Buy the SNES instead. - shadomatrix

Should be higher, at least top 3. - LarryLarrington

9 Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver

I gotta say in terms of graphical department Soul Reaver is probably the best looking of all of these, and while looks can be deceiving the atmospheric feel to this is even cooler especially the story the characters are pretty good as well. - htoutlaws2012

10 Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped

The Contenders

11 Xenogears

Yes a another RPG Square title, but another shinning great like many of the other ones they have made Xenogears has had a cult following since its release. - htoutlaws2012

12 Brave Fencer Musashi
13 Silent Hill

While the second is by far the better game why not the first game since many of the ones included were the predecessor released sections mostly. Still a solid choice that started a franchise to come after it in later consoles. - htoutlaws2012

14 Metal Gear Solid

Wait, it's not on there?! - myusernameisthis

15 Croc: Legend of the Gobbos
16 Klonoa: Door to Phantomile
17 Twisted Metal 2
18 Mega Man X4
19 Tales of Destiny
20 Tomb Raider
21 Mega Man Legends
22 Ape Escape

Pony were stupid for not including dualshock - HaloFanboy

23 WWF Smackdown
