Top 10 Walt Disney Animation Studios Princesses

A new trailer for Moana has been released, so I decided to make a list of the best Walt Disney Animation Studios princesses. Which means Merida can't be included since she's Pixar and Elena can't be included because she's from some stupid Disney Channel show.
The Top Ten
1 Mulan Fa Mulan, a character inspired by an actual historic figure is a character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 36th animated feature film Mulan, as well as its sequel Mulan II.

I love Mulan so much! Who doesn't!? She is awesome! She is the first Asian Disney princess and the first princess to not actually be a princess. But she's in the official Disney princess lineup because reasons. Mulan is very heroic and brave! She was willing to go into war to save her father and bring honor to her family! She masquerades as a boy and I have no idea how the other soldiers can't tell that she is a girl. Especially when three of them swam in a lake with her while she was naked. Lucky guys! At the end of the film she manages to save the day. So this shows that girls can be tough and heroic just as well. Mulan is a true heroine! And very beautiful! It's a shame that the SEQUEL totally ruined her character!

I swear if Disney casts white people as Asian people in the live-action Mulan, I'll declare war on Disney. Mulan and London Tipton from Suite Life were literally the only Asian characters I could look up to growing up. My sister was even named after Mulan. They better get this right.

Mulan is a fantastic role model for young girls. Heck, she's a fantastic role model for anyone. She stands up for what she believes is right and is determined to achieve her goals. She's hardworking, courageous, and just has such a life to her. Name one other Disney princess that saved an entire nation of people.

Let's just not talk about Mulan II.

She's independent and strong and she doesn't need her Prince Charming.

2 Rapunzel Rapunzel is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 50th animated feature film Tangled, and its short sequel Tangled Ever After. She is the tenth Disney Princess, the first Disney Princess to be CGI-animated, and the first Disney Princess to have freckles or green eyes.

Rapunzel can let her hair down for me any day! Rapunzel is a princess who was taken away from her parents by an evil woman who wants to stay young forever by using the power from Rapunzel's long blonde hair. All she wants to do is go outside because she was never allowed to leave the tower. Which makes me wonder how she knew how to swim later in the film. Rapunzel has proven to us that she knows how to take care of herself. When Flynn Rider sneaks into the tower, she hits him with a frying pan. I love Rapunzel so much but I have only one very minor complaint. I feel like Rapunzel has the weakest singing voice out of the Disney princesses. Which is odd since she's voiced by Mandy Moore. But other than that, Rapunzel is amazing!

3 Belle Belle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 30th animated feature film Beauty and the Beast (1991) and in the live action remake Beauty and the Beast (2017). Belle is the intelligent and selfless young daughter of an inventor who does not conform to the normal ways of her small minded village.

Belle is probably the most realistic of the Disney princesses. She's just a normal girl who spends her time reading books and doesn't care about getting a boyfriend or living a wealthy life. She ends up doing that anyway but whatever. Belle is awesome and very beautiful. I can see why Gaston likes her. Although Gaston just treats her like any other girl in the town but Belle is much smarter than the other girls. There are guys who think all girls care about is makeup and looking beautiful and getting boys to notice them. But Belle is different. She's prefect just the way she is. I just hope Emma Watson doesn't ruin the character.

Belle is one of the greatest protagonists in any Disney movie ever. She's kind, beautiful, smart, and sees the good in everybody. She doesn't care about wealth or the admiration of the town hero. She just wants to live a normal life reading, and doesn't want to go out and impress anybody. She does her own thing, and I can greatly respect that.

4 Tiana Princess Tiana of Maldonia is a fictional main character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 49th animated feature film The Princess and the Frog.

Tiana has gotta be the most underrated princess ever! When I first heard that Disney was gonna make a movie about an African American princess, I was really excited! Tiana is such a great character! She's very independent, smart, and hard working. She has been very skilled at cooking ever since she was a kid. Another thing that makes her so great is that she is brave and can handle dangerous situations. Throughout the movie, she is constantly saving Prince Naveen. She even defeats the Shadow Man at the end. I really think there should be more princesses like Tiana. And less like Pocahontas!

5 Snow White Snow White is a fictional character from Disney's first ever film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves . She is Disney's first ever Disney Princess and is the only Disney Princess to have her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame .

Snow White! The only Disney princess with a last name! Well actually Moana has a last name too. It's Waialiki. And coincidentally Moana is the same age as Snow White. Anyway, Snow White is the first ever Disney princess. She spends her day hanging out with animals and singing to them while they help clean which was parodied in the film, Enchanted. She meets the Seven Dwarves when they find her in their house and takes good care of them. She is very kind but I feel like she is too kind. She invites Queen Grimhilde (disguised as an old hag) into the Dwarves' home. She takes a bite out of an apple and temporarily dies. This is why you don't trust old people. But other than that, Snow White is a very likeable princess.

6 Jasmine She is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 31st animated feature film Aladdin (1992).

From Disney's Aladdin, it's Princess Jasmine! A princess who is forced to be married at such a young age and has to choose a suitor worthy of taking the hand of the princess. I don't understand why the sultan didn't change that rule. It's kind of ridiculous. Jasmine sneaks out of the palace and heads to the market in which she meets Aladdin. I really like Jasmine because even though she's the princess of Agrabah, she wants be like a normal girl. She's basically the opposite of Ariel from the Little Mermaid. She didn't want to be pushed into marriage. She knew she would find true love when the time was right. My main concern with Jasmine is that she didn't recognize Aladdin when he was dressed as Prince Ali. But overall, Jasmine is a great character and very hot!

She is most pretty and she is loyal look at her facial features : ) she is beautiful inside and out people think that Ariel is the prettiest sorry but no she is just in love with prince Eric she didn´t even meet him she was like "he' s so beautiful and jasmine she meet Aladdin and got to know him more

7 Cinderella Princess Cinderella is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 12th animated feature film Cinderella and its sequels Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and Cinderella III: A Twist in Time.

I would take Cinderella to the ball anytime. Before she became a princess, she was basically a slave to her stepsisters and stepmother. And even though she was constantly forced to do the chores, she would always have a good attitude. She was very determined to go to the ball even though her stepmother won't let her. She didn't let her stepmother get in the way of her dream. So she went to the ball after being given dangerous slippers and a dress and meets the prince. And the prince chose to dance with Cinderella out of all the other girls. I still consider them one of the worst Disney couples but it's still nice he chose her. And she deserved to have a happy ending after all she's been through. Even when Tremaine locked Cinderella in her room, she didn't give up on going after her dream. Unlike the live action version in which she gave up and got out by plot convenience! Well, at least it's better than Pocahontas learning English from THE WIND!

Cinderella started the whole being a princess thing, I mean I didn't really care about Snowwhite, but this one is by far the most beautiful princess and one of their really kindests.

8 Merida Princess Merida is a fictional character from Pixar's first ever Disney Princess film, Brave. She is a talented archer who wishes that she were not destined to become the Elegant Queen of Dun Broch. She is forced into a marriage betrothal by her mother, with whom she has a very negative relationship. ...read more.

" But every once in a while, there's a day when I don't have to be a princess. No lessons, no expectations. A day where anything can happen. A day I can change my fate" -Merida

Princess Merida of DunBroch (Scottish Gaelic: Mèrida) is the main character from the 2012 Disney Pixar film Brave. Merida was added to the Disney Princess line-up as the 11th Princess and the first Pixar character to receive the honor

I really think that Merida deserbes a place in top 5 she's not princess from walt Disney but she's in the Disney princess list.
After a long time Disney gave us a princess with wepons and not with any kind of magical powers.A girl who never dream of love, prince on a white horse or marrige. All she wants is to be herself.Merida is insperation to so many girls

Seriously?! Esmeralda is better than Merida?! She should be number 2

9 Moana Moana is the protagonist of Disney's 2016 animated feature film of the same name. Born on the island village of Motunui, Moana is the daughter of Chief Tui and Sina, with an inherited love for the seas and voyaging. When her island becomes endangered, Moana is chosen by the ocean to journey across the ...read more.
10 Ariel Princess Ariel is a fictional character and the title character of Walt Disney Pictures' 28th animated film The Little Mermaid.
The Contenders
11 Pocahontas Pocahontas is a title character in Disney's 33rd animated feature film Pocahontas, and its direct-to-video sequel Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World.

Pocahontas is 20?! These other people that are'nt even princesses

12 Aurora Aurora is a fictional character from the popular Disney Film, Sleeping Beauty and the 2015 Live Action Release, Maleficent. She is commonly known as Sleeping Beauty and is one of the group Disney Princesses. She is a unique Disney Princess as in her film, Sleeping Beauty, she has a total of 18 minutes of screen time and 18 lines (excluding the song she sings, Once Upon a Dream), unlike the other Disney Princesses who are featured in their films for nearly the entire film.

From the film, Sleeping Beauty, we have Aurora! A princess who was cursed by Maleficent to get back at the king and queen for not inviting her to their party. Although it's never explained why they didn't invite Maleficent. Aurora is a princess that not too many people talk about. She's very nice and pretty and teaches people to follow their dreams. But my main concern is that she barely has any screen time in her own movie! I wish we got to see more of her but then again, it's called Sleeping Beauty for a reason.
