10 Ways to Not Ruin Friendships Over Video Games

Are you tired of hearing stuff like "Mario Party & Mario Kart ruins friendships.", "Monopoly ruins relationships.", and even other stuff saying that a lot of games ruin friendships, families, and relationships? I know I am. So, here's how to play some of these games & not hate anybody.

The Top Ten

1 Be less competitive to the people that are playing with you.
2 Don't start any fights.
3 Don't complain that you lost.

Don't even complain that you got hit by the Spiny Shell. Just finish the race & cross the finish line.

4 Don't act like losing at these games is a big deal.

How many times have you seen a person act like losing is the end of the world? You know what they say? Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

5 Remember that you're just playing a game.

Sure, losing a lot can sometimes be a tiny bit embarrassing, but it's all just a bit of fun. Events in a multiplayer game not going in your favour aren't the end of the world. - Entranced98

Mario Party, Mario Kart, Monopoly, Uno are fun.

6 Don't brag about how good you are at it.

Just because you won at a Mario Party game, doesn't mean you're the only one that's good at it.

7 Be very nice.
8 Act the way other people should act when they play together.

Yup, it's extremely important to keep things civil and lighthearted. - Entranced98

9 Have fun.
10 Enjoy the awesomeness about some of the greatest games you can play with other people.

11 Avoid playing multiplayer games made by Nintendo

This isn't really valid. Pretty much any multiplayer game can be great fun, so long as you don't spoil it for yourself and others by taking everything too seriously and getting awfully worked up if things don't go your way. Blaming the game is merely an excuse. - Entranced98

12 Avoid Every Multiplayer Game

Everything!
