Top 10 Ways to Start Your Morning

You wake up very early in the morning and you don't feel very good? Check out some of these ways to keep your morning to it's maximum potential.

1 Drink Coffee

Coffee contains a stimulating drug called caffeine that makes your body more active. I would recommend one serving every other morning. It's advised to regulate your coffee intake to avoid sickness.

I do need this to get going, particularly when deadlines are nigh.

2 Wake Up at the Right Time

The most important part of starting your morning is to wake up at the right time. Not too early nor too late; stay within your limits.

You could set a timer on your phone or tablet; just ask Siri when to wake you up: Siri, wake me up at 6:00 a.m. or whenever.

I don't do this enough. I should know better.

3 Exercise

Always better than coffee in my opinion. It gets me pumped up for the rest of the day.

Take a hike, brisk walk, or jog. These exercises will help energize your muscles.

4 Eat a Healthy Breakfast

For a number of years, I kept telling myself that I couldn't eat in the morning. Well, I made myself change. I eat breakfast on a regular basis now, and it IS very important.

I would recommend eggs, bacon, and milk for a healthy breakfast.

6 Meditate

Meditation is key. As a Buddhist and a hippie, this is my opinion. I'm eleven, and a few months ago I was in a depression because of this "Magic Club." I was brainwashed, I don't know why because it is just four young girls.

Then I discovered meditation from my grandma. Boy, have I changed! Before, when I thought that everything has something bad, now I think there's a bit of nirvana or Heaven in everything. Meditation really is helping me with my life!

I meditate. I used to not but my life eventually became very stressful and I found it harder to balance everything.

I had a hard time figuring out how I felt and also about how others felt too. Then I started and I am finally feeling in control of my own life. It's a good feeling.

7 Listen to Relaxing Music

If it's the weekend, I will play relaxing music as I wake up, like some downtempo and chillstep. But 5 out of 7 days, I need more adrenaline. I often play something progressive and energetic on the way to college.

I start my day with Black Sabbath's "Symptom of the Universe," The B-52's "Rock Lobster," or The Kinks' "Waterloo Sunset."

I guess everything is very individual because relaxing music would make me want to go back to bed... I prefer fast and energetic music - for example, most metal songs are like caffeine shots.

9 Watch Television

You may need to stay updated with the weather, latest news, or other important updates within your area. Watching morning news can help you keep in touch with the latest updates.

10 Warm Up Outside

The sun's morning rays are a good source of Vitamin D. Try to take a sunbathe outside for a few minutes or longer, and you will get enough Vitamin D needed.
