I personally think because, of the videos low fps (which I know is on purpose), the weird sort of surrealist uses for claymation, and the fact it's staring at Peter Gabriels face for to whole for the video makes it kinda strange and not par for the course.

Also, many people on the internet think it's the strangest 80s video there is.

I don't know if it should actually beat Money For Nothing but, I'll just leave that to other people to decide.
