The Contenders: Page 10
Very weird song, especially compared with earlier David Bowie material, but this song is amazing. It has passages, and movements. It reaches a psychedelic and progressive tune. Very creative, Bowie left us with a masterpiece. - patrickfloyd
I love Kollegah's music and also this song (the beat and catchy chorus), but the premise is more than weird.
It begins with a skit. Kollegah is in front of a club giving autographs when he gets a call from a friend in the back of the club who tells Kollegah he's there with two hot women and he wants Kollegah to come inside and have sex with one of them. Then Kollegah announces to the audience to step in: "now step aside for the Bozz". Now, the song begins and Kollegah raps about how in the club all Gs (gangstas) step aside for him while all of the women and girls (he explicitely says both in the lyrics) flirt with him, but Kollegah isn't interested in them. That's about it. At the same time, he raps over a piano sample from Magic Affair's eurodance classic "Omen III", and even sings the melody in the chorus (yes, he sings himself), while at the same time acting thugg-ish and cool.
It is a very weird moment on the album, but also a lot of fun, and very addictive. Just... too over ...more - Martin_Canine
