These are the episodes from both cartoons and anime that left you asking just what the hell where the writers thinking when they came up with these episodes.
The Top Ten
1 It's a Wishful Life - The Fairly OddParents

Nothing in the episode makes any logical sense, did someone at The Fairly Oddparents actually thought it would be funny to do an episode where Timmy wishes he was never born and finds out that everyone's lives are better for it, that's not funny that's just horribly depressing the only way this plot could work is if the main character was a complete jerk who made everyone's life miserable and they're shown that the world is better off that they didn't exist and it would actually make them want to change themselves for the better, the most infuriating part about this is Timmy was trying to do nice things for everyone and having everyone get angry at him for no real reason so he wishes that he was never born so Jorgen Von Strangle who enjoys tormenting Timmy shows him that the world is better that he never existed then shows Timmy how him never existing made everyone's life better then they show a bunch of stuff that makes absolutely no sense just to name a few Francis is no longer a ...more

2 Arnold Betrays Iggy - Hey Arnold

This episode has more holes in its plot than Swiss Cheese, I'll countdown all the problems with this episodes writing.

1. Iggy wearing Bunny Pajamas, there's no explanation for why he's wearing them in the first place he doesn't seem to like wearing them nor do they have any sentimental value towards him.

2. Stinky and Sid correctly guessing that Iggy wears bunny pajamas, okay so how is it that Stinky and Sid just happen to guess that Iggy wears bunny pajamas there is no logical explanation for this unless both Sticky and Sid just happened to have seen him wearing bunny pajamas of course when Arnold tells them not to tell and of course they tell everyone.

3. Sid and Stinky telling Iggy that Arnold told them his secret, Arnold Nevers tells them anything about Iggy's secret yet they insist on telling Iggy that Arnold told them which is a blatant lie.

4. Arnold taking the fall, Arnold didn't do anything wrong yet he willingly accepts responsibility for ...more

3 No Such Luck - The Loud House

All I can say about this episode is child abandonment is not funny.

4 Everyone Knows It's Bendy - Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
5 Dexter vs Santa's Claws - Dexter's Laboratory

Did someone at Cartoon Network actually thought it would be a good idea to make an episode in which Dexter tries to murder Santa Clause.

6 The Big Fairy Share Scare - The Fairly OddParents

Just when you think the Fairly Oddparenst couldn't sink any lower they made this episode learning nothing from their mistake with Sparky they add yet another completely useless character to the mix Chloe Carmichael, they literally just made up everything as they went on in this episode even going so far as to throw out a lot of the rules that were established earlier in the series, Chloe is a perfect kid and everyone likes her except for Timmy and now making things even worst Timmy now has to share both Cosmo and Wanda with her because of some lazy excuse by Jorgen apparently even the writers couldn't come up with a good enough reason for this speaking of witch there are several things wrong with this concept for one thing I'm pretty sure it violates two of Da rules one being no one is suppose to know that a kid has fairy godparents and second kids with godparents are not suppose to know about other kids having fairy godparents, second it has never been mentioned before that two kids ...more

7 A Pal for Gary - SpongeBob SquarePants
8 Fallen Arches - The Powerpuff Girls

This has to be the most pointless episode ever written, Blossom refuses to let her or her sisters stop a trio of elderly villains known as The Ministry of Pain from robbing the bank simply because they're old, I get that Blossom doesn't want to actually harm these elderly people but that doesn't change the fact that they're still breaking the law and they still have to uphold the law they don't even have to fight them just let them tire themselves out, so what does she do instead convince two old superheroes who are in no physical shape at all to fight the Ministry of Pain Captain Righteous and his sidekick Left the problem they both hate each other so of course Blossom lies to get them together again and you can easily guess what happens next they both show up to fight the Ministry of pain and they both argue with one another the Ministry annoyed with them shoves Lefty down and breaks his hip Captain Righteous despite his hatred for his former sidekick slowly and I do mean slowly ...more

9 One Coarse Meal - SpongeBob Squarepants

Why isn't this first also that Picture no thanks that's atrocious no offense.

This should be way higher

10 Lisa Goes Gaga - The Simpsons

Oh here we go the haters of a pop star Lady Gaga. Even The Principal and the Pauper was funny just a bit odd.

The Contenders
11 The Principal and the Pauper - The Simpsons

This episode was the start of the fall of the Simpsons, I just cannot understand the writing behind this episode out of nowhere its revealed that Skinner is an imposter assuming the identity of man who was thought to be dead, this makes no sense at all there was never any indication in the show leading to this episode that he was an imposter then in the end everyone just pretends that none of this ever happened, so what was the point of all this there was no pay off and it feels like a complete waste of time.

12 Life of Brian - Family Guy

Them killing Brian was stupid and adding Vinny ultimately killed the show for good.

13 Waffles - Teen Titans Go!

Did one of the writers on the show actually made a bet to see how many times they could get the characters to say Waffles in one episode.

Out of all the things I want death on is this show...

14 I'm with Stupid - SpongeBob SquarePants

I could easily have put any of those awful modern SpongeBob episodes here but for now I'll be looking at one really bad episode from the golden age of SpongeBob "I'm with Stupid" basically the episode centers on SpongeBob helping Patrick when his parents come to visit him by pretending that he's dumb in order to make Patrick look smart by comparison but here's where all the problems with this episode really begins after SpongeBob continues to act dumb Patrick starts to cruelly make fun of SpongeBob for being dumb forgetting that he's the one doing him a favor and SpongeBob gets really annoyed with Patrick for being incredibly mean spirited when he tries to explain things to Patrick's parents they assume that Patrick taught him to be smart and it gets even worst as SpongeBob continues to try and convince him that he really is smart but it still doesn't help meanwhile Patrick and his parents continue laughing at him in a very uncomfortable manner leading to SpongeBob running out of the ...more

15 Town and Out - The Powerpuff Girls

In the previous episode we see what Townsville would be like if the girls ever left and see it in compete ruin and yet in this episode they just have them move to another city because the professor got a new job which makes no sense since he's self employed and have the girls being bullied by the school kids for no reason.

16 Fear of a Krabby Patty - Spongebob SquarePants
17 Oh, Jeez - South Park
18 Stimpy's Pregnant - Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon
19 Screams of Silence: The Story of Brenda Q - Family Guy
20 Yours, Mine and Mine - SpongeBob SquarePants
21 The True Meaning of Christmas - Teen Titans Go!

I know this show is suppose to be a comedy but I fail to see how vandalism, murder, or even terrorism would be considered funny the episode heavily promotes that fact that Christmas is only about presents and it's not ashamed of it.

22 The Return of Slade - Teen Titans Go!
23 Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty - Taz-Mania
24 Stuck In the Wringer - SpongeBob SquarePants
25 Fool Me Twice - The Loud House
