Top Ten Best Wide Receivers of the 2020 NFL Season

It was a historic season for wide receivers across the NFL. Some broke NFL records and team records, and some young players began their rise up. Here, we are looking at the top ten best wide receivers of the 2020 NFL season.
The Top Ten
1 Davante Adams Davante Lavell Adams is an American football wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

Adams was the best wide receiver in the NFL playing with the best quarterback in the NFL. Now that is a recipe for success. Even with missing two games, Adams still had 1,374 receiving yards and an NFL leading 18 touchdowns. Imagine what he might have been able to do if he played all 16 games.

2 Stefon Diggs Stefon Diggs is an American football wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. Diggs was drafted in the fifth round one hundred and forty sixth overall to the Minnesota Vikings in 2015.

The Bills trading for Diggs might go down as one of the all time great trades. Just look at what he has done to the team in his first season there. He gave Josh Allen an elite target, and he finally got his chance to be a true number one wide receiver. He definitely showed he was ready for it. He led the NFL in catches with 127 and receiving yards with 1,535, and had 8 touchdowns as well. This trade not only worked out for the Bills, but the Vikings too, as their Diggs replacement is also on this list.

3 Tyreek Hill

Playing for the top team in the NFL, Hill continued his dominance with his speed. He had 1,276 yards and 15 touchdowns, and now he is one of the main reasons the Chiefs are in the Super Bowl.

4 DeAndre Hopkins DeAndre Rashaun Hopkins, also known as "Nuk," is an American football wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. Hopkins was drafted 27th overall to the Houston Texans in 2013.

In his first season with the Cardinals, Hopkins picked up where he left off with the Texans. With Kyler Murray passing to him, he had 1,407 yards and 6 touchdowns. He was also on the receiving end of the Hail Murray. As long as they have Hopkins, the Cardinals will have a shot at the playoffs.

5 DK Metcalf

Metcalf continues to show that teams shouldn't have let him go to the second round in the 2019 NFL Draft. As Russell Wilson's top target, Metcalf had 1,303 yards and 10 touchdowns to help lead the Seahawks to the playoffs. He is only going to get better.

6 Justin Jefferson

Many were wondering if Jefferson could have the impact Stefon Diggs had for the Vikings. Turns out, he got the job done. In one of the best rookie wide receiver seasons in NFL history, Jefferson had 1,400 yards and 7 touchdowns playing opposite of Adam Thielen. Jefferson became the favorite target of Kirk Cousins, and helped the Vikings push for the playoffs in the middle of the season. If this is how he looks as a rookie, imagine how much better he will be in the next few seasons.

7 Calvin Ridley

It was a down season for Julio Jones, but with it brought the rise of third year receiver Calvin Ridley. At one point, he led the league in receiving touchdowns, and he ended the season with 9. He also ended up with a career high 1,374 yards in his first 1,000 yard season. He is hitting his stride at the right time for the Falcons.

8 A.J. Brown

Fighting through injuries and missed time, Brown still put together a great second season in 2020. As Ryan Tannehill's favorite target, he had 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns, and made a stellar partner with Corey Davis.

9 Mike Evans Michael Lynn Evans is an American football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. Evans was drafted 7th overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014.

With Tom Brady as his quarterback, Evans continued his streak of 1,000 yard seasons, with 1,006 yards and 13 touchdowns. If the NFC wasn't loaded at the wide receiver position, he would have more recognition. Now he's going to the Super Bowl.

10 Tyler Lockett

Playing alongside DK Metcalf, Lockett also made himself a top target for Russell Wilson. He had 1,054 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The Contenders
11 Allen Robinson Allen Bernard Robinson II is an American football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. Robinson was drafted in the 2nd round 61st overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2014
12 Terry McLaurin

Terry McLaurin should be higher on the list.

13 D.J. Moore

14 Amari Cooper Amari Cooper is an American football wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. Cooper was drafted 4th overall to the Oakland Raiders in 2015.

He's had one good QB for a the first few weeks it's not his fault he had less yards than A.J. Brown or D.J. Moore he played great but he didn't have a QB good enough for the most of the year

15 Julio Jones Quintorris Lopez "Julio" Jones is a current wide receiver who plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. Jones was selected sixth overall in 2011 to the Atlanta Falcons, and since made it to one Super Bowl.
