Top Ten Best Wide Receivers Going Into the 2020 NFL Season

The Top Ten
1 Julio Jones Quintorris Lopez "Julio" Jones is a current wide receiver who plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. Jones was selected sixth overall in 2011 to the Atlanta Falcons, and since made it to one Super Bowl.

With Antonio Brown out of the league, Jones is now the best wide receiver in the NFL. He has been a consistent 1,000 yard receiver since his rookie season in 2011, and has been Matt Ryan's favorite target. Jones is a seven-time Pro Bowler, and looks to add to his resume some more. If he keeps up the way he plays, he will maybe be a Hall of Famer.

2 DeAndre Hopkins DeAndre Rashaun Hopkins, also known as "Nuk," is an American football wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. Hopkins was drafted 27th overall to the Houston Texans in 2013.

Somehow, Hopkins was traded by the Texans to the Cardinals, and the Texans didn't even get a first round pick out of it. Just how does that happen. Now the Cardinals have Larry Fitzgerald and Deandre Hopkins at wide receiver, and that's something to fear. He even has up-and-coming second-year quarterback Kyler Murray as his new quarterback. Expect him to produce in what looks to be the best Cardinals offense since the 2015 season, in which they went 13-3.

3 Michael Thomas

Thomas is a top three receiver in the NFL, yet isn't even the best one in his division. The NFC South is stacked at wide receiver, and Michael Thomas is near Julio Jones at the front of it. The reigning Offensive Player of the Year is still young, and recently broke Marvin Harrison's NFL record of receptions in a single season, with 149. The two-time first team all-pro still has some records to break.

4 Tyreek Hill

Hill was an important player in the high-flying Chiefs offense that won Super Bowl LIV. He is arguably the fastest player in the NFL, and can burn any corner that is on him. Not to mention that he is a good punt returner too, and made the 2010s all-decade team for it. With Hill on the team, the Chiefs have good opportunities for more Super Bowl titles in the future.

5 Davante Adams Davante Lavell Adams is an American football wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

Adams missed four games in 2019, and still finished with 997 receiving yards, the second time in his career that happened. He is far and away the best wide receiver for the Packers, and is a favorite target of Aaron Rodgers. He made his third Pro Bowl in 2019, and looks to have some more in his future. He is also arguably the NFL's best route runner, as most could see all season. He will continue to be a weapon for the Packers offense.

6 Chris Godwin

Godwin broke out for the Buccaneers in 2019, becoming another great wide receiver alongside Mike Evans. He was a Pro Bowler and second team all-pro. The young wide receiver will continue to shine in the coming seasons.

7 Mike Evans Michael Lynn Evans is an American football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. Evans was drafted 7th overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014.

Like Julio Jones, Evans is a consistent 1,000 yard receiver, though is usually overlooked in a crowded NFC South for receivers. Evans now has a good running mate in Chris Godwin, and now has Tom Brady throwing to him. Maybe with more eyes on the Buccaneers this season, Evans will get more attention.

8 Keenan Allen Keenan Alexander Allen is an American football wide receiver for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League.

Allen is one of the NFL's best route runners, alongside Davante Adams. He made his third straight Pro Bowl in 2019 as well, putting up a great season with the Chargers. He now has rookie quarterback Justin Herbert throwing to him. We will see if he has the same connection with him that he had with Philip Rivers.

9 Amari Cooper Amari Cooper is an American football wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. Cooper was drafted 4th overall to the Oakland Raiders in 2015.

Cooper is a hot-and-cold wide receiver. He can be elite one game, and a non-factor the next game. Still, the Cowboys gave him a massive extension, knowing how good he is when he is elite. Now he has another great wide receiver alongside him, CeeDee Lamb. That duo could be powerful, especially with Dak Prescott throwing to them.

10 Adam Thielen
The Contenders
11 Kenny Golladay

Golladay quietly led the NFL in receiving touchdowns in 2019 and made his first Pro Bowl. He is Matthew Stafford's favorite target, and the Lions may soon have to extend him. He is a young up-and-coming wide receiver, and they would be wise to keep him around Detroit.

12 Allen Robinson Allen Bernard Robinson II is an American football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. Robinson was drafted in the 2nd round 61st overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2014
13 Odell Beckham Jr. Odell Beckham Jr. is a NFL wide receiver, playing for the Los Angeles Rams. He is most-known for making an incredible one-handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys. Beckham was drafted 12th overall to the New York Giants.
14 Stefon Diggs Stefon Diggs is an American football wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. Diggs was drafted in the fifth round one hundred and forty sixth overall to the Minnesota Vikings in 2015.
15 Courtland Sutton
16 Tyler Lockett
