Smartest Wings Of Fire Characters
Qibli is the smartest character Wings of Fire! He outwitted Darkstalker and basically saved the world twice. Why else would Queen Thorn choose him to go on the secret stealth team in book fifteen? I mean, sure he was loyal. Qibli is smart and loyal. He saved the world using a doubling bowl and an earring. Qibli is good at military strategy. Qibli is no doubt the smartest on the list. His brain is constantly working on different things at once, plus he has the wittiest, funniest retorts. He practically saved the entire Ice Kingdom using only an animus enchanted bowl and an earring. So...he definitely deserves #1.
Qibli is the smartest of course because he analyses everything in a couple of seconds!

Qibli is by far the smartest character, but more in a cunning way. He's not the smart like Cricket, but smart in his own way, like he can make up strategies.
Cricket should be ranked lower than this (no hate on Cricket.) But she isn't as smart as say: Darksalker, Starflight, Blister, Queen Scarlet, Kinkajou, Glory, and Moon. She should actually be more like number eight. She was on the secret stealth team in book fifteen, yet she didn't really give any ideas or be helpful in any other way than comforting Luna. Likes books, yeah. No matter what ALL the LeafWings (you almost got extinct) or HiveWings (Cricket's tribe) or SilkWings (we control you) think, Cricket is still the best. Don't know why Qibli is first on the list, he lost Icicle in the batte, and of course, looks VERY ugly. Don't know what Vulture means by "I've always suspected that you were the smartest of Cobra's offspring." So...

You know what I like about Starflight? Well, Tui gave some of the dragons natural intellect. Starlight? Yes, but he had to study. It just shows hard work pays off :)
Yep. Darkstalker even though he was evil, was manipulating and cunning. He protected his soul (even though it didn't work.) If he wasn't evil, he would be a great character. Darkstalker enchanted items that he knew would work in his favor. Darkstalker should be number three. He's quite smart and he figured out how to kind of protect an animus's soul. He also figured out how to remake Clearsight, except Moon or Qibli thought that she had the personality of a sun-dried tomato. Darkstalker is very clever and smart. - Jaguar the RainWing
Darkstalker is a GENIUS (although admittedly very manipulative and cunning). The soul-protecting scroll was one of the most brilliant ideas in animus history, and the idea to write the enchantments that Clearsight and Fathom would disapprove of between the lines was pretty smart as well.

Stupid not to change the ultimate power to ultimate power on her side. By this I mean why didn't she enchant Darkstalker to obey her every command. Smartest rainwing also smarter than the mudwings.

I love Kinkajou! She's very smart, she was one of the first RainWings that grew up in the rainforest to learn how to read. She's bright and kind. Kinkajou forever!
Kinkajou should be higher on the list! She is wise. Very. She also learned to read and write super quick.
