Top 10 Worst 2D Animated Disney MoviesThe years when Disney made 2D animated films were very great. However, not all of those movies were good. So let’s discuss them.
The Top Ten
Maggie is my main problem with this film, awful protagonist. The art direction and the other two cows were at least pretty good.
The animation looks like it was it was animated by a walmart employee, And the songs aren't that good...
I kinda like it...
It looks good
I haven't seen the movie, but the plot seemed a little bit out of tune for a good Mulan sequel. Additionally, I heard one song from it, and I cringed. I feel the same way that youtuber feels. (I heard the song from his video.)
The message of the movie is plain stupid, Mulan let her enemies destroy something she supported then she went on not caring about it, Wow...
At least Home On The Range was somewhat competent in a few areas. This movie is just complete garbage.
I think everyone wants to forget this one.
This is way more racist than Song of the South is lol
The proper title for this one is actually: Pocahontas 2: Journey to a Crappy World
This is K's favourite yes yes
This movie is not good. It was boring to me. What I want to know is how a movie made in 1998 has worse animation then one made in 1991.
Worst than home on the range
This was just...so forgettable.
You expect other movies to at least have a exciting part, This thing WAS TOTAL TRASH AND BORING!
Top should be higher. It's just made of unnecessary 3 episodes that were combined in a movie. There's no interesting plot! Screw this and screw Belle's Magical World!
I haven't watched the other movies listed on this list, but out of all the movies I watched that are listed on here, I think this is the worst. It's just boring.
No this is not the worst movie this movie is very beautiful and special
this is awesome and I don't care if you said this is boring cause you are so wrong.
A worse sequel to an already terrible Disney movie. Like that's anything worth watching. But that's what Disney used to be like, making sequels to many of their movies including some of the worst ones. Now they just do remakes of every old classic. I just hope that Atlantis: The Lost Empire does not get a remade. It's bad enough that they remake GOOD movies, why would we need a remake of a movie that wasn't any good to begin with?
It's hard to pirate.
The first Hunchback was one of my favorite films of all time, I wish this was never made!
This movie gets worse the more I watch it. It’s just awful. Even Disney tries to pretend it doesn’t exist. There’s nothing great about it. The animation is awful and the characters are some of the least interesting and most forgettable characters to ever be put in cinema. I really hate Gurgi. He’s the Jar Jar Binks of the movie. He has such an annoying voice. I didn’t even care when he sacrificed himself. This is a very bad and forgettable film. I guess I kind of appreciate it for trying to stand out from other Disney films in its tone, but the final results were very poor.
No, this was not "a literal hidden gem". This was just another boring and uninteresting Disney movie that's overrated for the wrong reasons. What was so great about it? But it DOES deserve its place in the Top 10. But The Aristocats, The Lion King, and other great movies should seriously be taken off of here.
This film was actually good. Damn good, a literal hidden gem.
Very strange, boring, and unrealistic movie. It's just a "recycled in space" version of Treasure Island, the novel that inspired it. The movie bombed big time too. Even more so than the bomb that was Home on the Range. Not to mention, it cost more, making it fail even harder. It's just too bad that this movie is considered "good" according to Rotten Tomatoes when Brother Bear isn't, and BB was FAR better. Still, I can safely say that I don't like any of the movies in the Top 10. But unfortunately, we get good movies on the list starting with The Aristocats and The Lion King. But at least this movie is higher on the list than any of the good ones.
A complete slap in the face to every Cinderella fan out there. Whose idea was it to put time travel in a Cinderella movie? It's basically the first film in reverse. What point was there to this then? Even Cinderella II had more of a purpose, and it wasn't good either. But this was even WORSE than the first sequel to Cinderella! I like to pretend that these sequels don't exist. In fact, let's just pretend that NONE of these worst Disney movies exist, EXCEPT for GOOD movies on this list like The Lion King and The Aristocats. But those movies shouldn't be on this list, not even at the bottom.
Pocahontas is the third worst Disney princess. Just like the Greatest Showman, Pocahontas is a bad movie with a great soundtrack. Colors of the Wind is amazing and one of my favorites. I also really enjoy Savages. But the overall film is very slow and uninteresting. The voice actors are very talented, but most of them talk as if they’re in a Shyamalan film. Also, I just realized that I put two Christian Bale movies on this list. That wasn’t on purpose. This movie also suffers from lazy writing. The climax felt very anti-climactic compared to other scenes. And let’s not forget the completely awful scene that involves Pocahontas learning English from THE WIND!
EDIT: I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t make fun of the villain in this movie. R.I.P. David Ogden Stiers.
Aurora does suck but deserves more attention if you ask me
What is the other two
Probably my 8 fave
I thought this film was pretty good honestly. Not my absolute favorite, but definitely in my Top 10. Get this film off of here.
How is this on the list? Hercules is an awesome movie
Only good that came out of this was Hades.
I can’t believe this came out the year I was born. How ironic. Aside from the brilliantly written song, Go the Distance, this is a mess of a movie. It feels like they ran out of ideas and just decided to make a movie with random things that shouldn’t go together. The gospel songs are so annoying. Zero to Hero is one of the worst Disney songs ever. Anyone who says that the Frozen songs are worse only think that because they’re overplayed. That doesn’t at all change the quality of the songs. Susan Egan is a great actress, but I hate Meg. Even though Ariel is an objectively worse character based on her actions, at least she has a personality! Meg is just very bland! Even Hercules himself is bland! Hades is cool. I’ll admit that. I don’t get why this movie has fans. So awful.
This movies plot is almost exactly like Little Mermaid II which is no real surprise as they were released at the same time.
Another bland and boring sequel to a lesser known Disney movie. The original wasn't that great, but this was worse than the original. So if you didn't like The Emperor's New Groove, you won't like this one either. And even if you did like The Emperor's New Groove, that doesn't guarantee that you'll like it.
Ya wasted the perfect story of Emperors New Groove. We want more Yzma!
Brooo, Kronk reminds me about one of my friends at school. But, anyway, I hated this film... and I was born in 2005.
This isn't a worst film! I loved it!
This was one of my favorite movies a a childhood, and to this day think it's a legitimately good movie! It does NOT deserve a place on this list! Sure, Edgar isn't really a memorable Disney villain. But who cares? I love the rest of the movie.
I also like it because Duchess reminds me of my cat Snowball, who passed away a few years ago. :'(
This film wasn't bad at all in my opinion. It's not the best 70's Disney animated film (the two best would be Rescuers and Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh) but it's still enjoyable.
The AristoCats is one of my favorite Disney movies because of Napoleon and Lafayette
Nothing wrong with it. Maybe some hate older Disney animation.
I’d like to put my sword in that stone. This movie isn’t completely awful, but it hasn’t aged well. I’m sure that some people might’ve found it amazing when it came out years ago. These days, it doesn’t have that effect. One of my biggest problems is the voice acting. They literally had three kids voice the main character. During certain moments, it sounds painfully obvious. Of all the Disney movies that need remakes, this one needs one the most. In fact, I think they are planning on making one. Hopefully it will be better than this.
Just a bland and mediocre prequel to The Little Mermaid. It's less interesting then the first Little Mermaid sequel (The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea). However, it's not so bad compared to The Hunchback of Notre Dame II and Belle's Magical World.
Hate this movie. So bad. Makes no sense. Is extremely overrated. Has a bad message. Songs are ok. I hate the Circle of Life.
Do not judge me, these are my opinions.
Didn't like it, the thing going on at the end where they are FORCING simba to help them is so stupid, let him be who he wants to be!
Honestly is anyone even surprised this was added here? We all know who did it.
Such a bad idea to remake this piece of crap.
This movie is just so mean-spirited and annoying! I thought the package films and The Sword in the Stone were the worst of the Disney movies from Walt Disney's days, but I almost forgot about this one. At least the package films aren't as mean-spirited. Plus, this movie is basically an allegory for doing drugs. It's really terrible. Don't watch it unless you want to feel angry at mean-spirited and annoying characters on drugs for 75 minutes. That's basically what this movie is about.
Why is Alice in Wonderland on this list!? I love this movie!
The original Fox and the Hound is a classic. But this "sequel" came out of nowhere. In fact, it's known as a "midquel" because it's not really a sequel. If it was a real sequel, it would have taken place after the first film when Tod and Copper grew up. Instead, it goes back to their childhood with a new story that has NOTHING to do with the original's story. This was back when Disney made sequels to many of their classics. Now that they're into remakes, they might remake the original Fox and the Hound as well. But if they do, we can only hope that even a remake of the original would be better than this. At least it would if it kept closer to the original story. At least the live-action Beauty and the Beast kept closer to the original Beauty and the Beast. Belle's Magical World was NOTHING like the original in quality. So yeah, this would be the second worst midquel, with the worst being Belle's Magical World. But at least unlike Belle's Magical World, this one has well down ...more
Everyone in dis movie is immature
