Top 10 Worst Animated Characters Excluding Netflix

These are the worst animated characters from cartoons and movies. Not including Netflix cartoons.
The Top Ten
1 Jar Jar Binks Jar Jar Binks is a fictional character from the Star Wars saga created by George Lucas. A major character in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, he also has a smaller role in Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and a one-line cameo in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and the television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The character has earned negative reception for his voice, his clumsiness and the fact that he can't take care of himself. He has earned a reputation of being one of the most hated characters in cinema.

I don’t think there is anyone out there who likes Jar Jar Binks! He is horrible! Phantom Menace is a pretty bad movie, but I personally think it’s overhated. Attack of the Clones was a much worse movie. And that one, ironically, didn’t have as much Jar Jar in it. He is my least favorite thing about Phantom Menace! Sure midichloreans are stupid and Jake Lloyd can’t act, but I just can’t stand Jar Jar! He is so annoying! Pretty much all gungans are annoying! The sound of his voice and the way he says his sentences is so irritating! I don’t know why George Lucas thought this character was a good idea. He barely adds anything to the story! And when he actually does something it’s usually by accident! None of the jokes involving him got a laugh out of me! So stupid!

2 Ariel Princess Ariel is a fictional character and the title character of Walt Disney Pictures' 28th animated film The Little Mermaid.

Curse you mega soul hero

I’m hilarious. But seriously, I have seen people bash on characters who have the same problems as Ariel! And yet they give her a pass because she’s a classic Disney princess! I’m not forcing you to hate her. I just want you to understand where I’m coming from. People still think I’m in the wrong for hating her! The movie she stars in is good, but that doesn’t automatically make her a good character! Jodi Benson’s a great actress. I saw her while I was at D23 and she seems very nice. I didn’t get to meet her, but I saw her on stage at the animated films panel while they were talking about Wreck-it Ralph 2. I already know Ariel will be my least favorite character in that movie. Jodi plays the role of Ariel very well, but the actual character is atrocious! The only time when she was actually likeable was in Ariel’s Beginning because at least in that movie she doesn’t do anything for her own selfish reasons! She wanted to make the other characters happy! The first ...more

What about season 9 & 10?

I liked Patrick back when SpongeBob was actually a good show. It’s too bad the show we knew and loved is over. I stopped watching the show after season 8 because of how bad it’s gotten! One of the reasons why Modern SpongeBob is so bad is because of Patrick! I get that he’s supposed to be stupid, but they also turn him into a jerk in the process! There was even one episode where he stated that he is being stupid on purpose! He is pretty much making the characters’ lives miserable! He causes harm to others, especially Squidward, and does a lot of jerky things! There was this one episode where he “takes care of” Gary and does a terrible job at it! You can tell that Gary is scared of him because of the way he’s treating him! He even attempted to use salt on him even though Gary is a snail! Patrick sucks! Let’s face it! This show is done! Over! It will never be good again! Such a shame.

4 Brian Griffin Brian H. Griffin, popularly known without his middle initial as Brian Griffin, is a fictional character from the animated television series Family Guy.

Family Guy is the worst current adult cartoon! And don’t say Big Mouth is unless you actually watched at least more than one episode of that show. At least that actually had relatability to it! Anyway, Brian Griffin is the absolute worst thing about Family Guy! I mean wow! He is such an unlikeable jerk! He was slightly tolerable in the earlier seasons, but he has gotten significantly worse! There are still people who like him, but I honestly don’t see why. He does the most unforgivable things! Like the time he gave Stewie herpes! He has also tried to steal Peter’s wife. And then there’s the episode, and my personal least favorite, “Brian’s a Bad Father”! He was absolutely despicable in that episode! And yet, there are still times when the show tries to make us feel bad for him! But it fails miserably! Why exactly were people upset when he died? When that happened, I didn’t care at all. Too bad they brought him back literally two episodes later! I thought that maybe ...more

I don't know if he did it intentionally or what but seth McFarlane made brian griffin one of the most insufferable characters on the show, which is weird because brian started out as the voice of reason who could only sometimes be condescending.

5 Princess Peach Princess Peach is a major character in the Mario Bros. Franchise. She is the lead female of the The Mario franchise. She is usually the character who needs saved in most Mario Games, but also has appeared as a playable character in the Main-Series Mario Games, including Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario... read more

@MegaSoulHero I know this is off topic but, ever heard of Navi before? She is so annoying!

In everything ever? Your taking about characters right?

The Peach hate back then was incredibly stupid.

6 Dora the Explorer Dora is the main protagonist in the show "Dora the Explorer". Her main occupation is exploring with her monkey friend, Boots.

I Hate Her Because She's Annoying, Not Because She's A Preschool Show Character

7 Chloe Carmichael

Kari Wahlgren is too good for having to voice someone like Chloe. Seriously, once Chloe got into the picture, The Fairly OddParents' chances of ever gaining back the footing it had in its prime were stomped into the dirt. Like most Scrappys, Chloe absolutely destroyed the sole premise and main universe dynamics of the show. Poof was at the very least a tolerable addition to the main cast and at least he didn't ruin the main core dynamic of Timmy having Fairy Godparents since he was just an add-along as a little fairy godbrother. As for Sparky and Chloe, THOSE TWO COMPLETELY RUINED THE SHOW'S PREMISE. A fairy godbrother makes sense, but why does Timmy need a pet dog and have to share his fairies with another kid? All these character additions are pretty unnecessary and detrimental to the show. Trust me, THERE'S EVEN A FEMALE VILLAIN WHOSE PREMISE IS THAT SHE USES CAKE AND BACON FOR EVIL! It's downright scraping the bottom of the barrel, if you ask me. Getting back on topic, I hardly ...more

She's bad at the start she's annoying and dumb. She'd wished for a almost extinct animal to never be extinct it make me want to rid of her. But she's gets better at every end of an episode.

Modern Fairly Oddparents isn’t as bad as Modern SpongeBob, but it’s still pretty bad. They keep introducing new unnecessary characters. I like Poof, but he doesn’t really add much to the show. Sparky is absolutely terrible! And Chloe flat out destroyed the show! She is the biggest Mary Sue in the history of Mary Sues! There is nothing good about her! Her whole character is that she’s a perfect little girl whom everyone likes. She pretty much gets whatever she wants without doing much. And the worst part is she gets to share fairies with Timmy! How is that possible? Throughout the show, they made it very clear that only miserable kids get fairies! Chloe is the opposite of miserable! When a show comes up with major rules like these, we expect them to actually follow them! But instead, they just decided to ignore it because reasons! Chloe is WAY too perfect! It makes me sick! And she gets upset when very minor things don’t go right for her! She doesn’t know the meaning of ...more

8 Caillou Caillou, which means "pebble" or "stone" in French, is the self-proclaimed "Prince of Imagination." He is a four-year-old boy who serves as the main protagonist of the TV series and books, both of which share his name. Caillou is bald and is usually seen wearing a yellow short-sleeved shirt with a blue cap.

Caillou is such a brat! And the thing is, he actually kind of reminds me of me when I was younger. I acted kind of like how Caillou acts and nobody liked me! I had no friends! People thought I was annoying! And ever since then, I’ve been afraid of being social! I’ve become very shy! I rarely talk to people! I spend most of my time alone! To sum it up, Caillou ruined my life! It’s because of him that I am a loner! This is the wrong way for kids to act! Complaining is not gonna get you what you want! I hate this kid so much! I wish I could go back in time and stop my parents from making me watch this show!

He is a bad example for kids, he always whines and complains and some parents even reported that their children were changing and become more whiny after watching Caillou too much.

9 Mushu

Mushu was such an enjoyable character in the first Mulan movie. But in Mulan 2, he is just downright awful! He actually attempts to break up Mulan and Shang so he could keep his job as royal guardian! He is such a selfish jerk in the movie! If he was actually a real friend towards Mulan, he would be happy for her and be willing to make a sacrifice for her! But instead, he comes up with mean ways of ruining their marriage so he can keep his pedestal! Way to ruin a perfectly good character! Also, he’s not even voiced by Eddie Murphy in the sequel. Which I guess is a good thing. In the end, Mushu realizes what he did was wrong, but Shang does something that let’s Mushu keep his job even though he doesn’t deserve after all the things he put them through! He learns absolutely nothing! I hate Mulan 2 and I hate Mushu!

10 Morton Koopa Jr. (New Super Mario Bros. U)
The Contenders
11 Mr. Krabs Eugene H. Krabs, or simply Mr. Krabs, is a fictional character in the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants.
12 Pinkie Pie Pinkie Pie is a major character in the 2010 show My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, based on Surprise from My Little Pony G1, She represents the element of Laughter.

Pinkie Pie is my least favorite character in a very good show. I don’t really get why people like her. She is just so irritating! There are many times when she talks too fast! I hate having to listen to the sound of her voice! There have been a few times in the show in which she got a laugh out of me, but most of the time she annoys me a lot! All she does is throw parties for seemingly no reason! I know that’s what she’s supposed to do but she does it so much to the point where it gets old! Another problem I have is that she tends to be happy way too much. Even in serious situations. The MLP movie is a perfect example of this. In that movie, she was a lot worse! There was a scene when they’re falling out of the sky and Pinkie is smiling! Who smiles while falling out of the sky? Very weird.

13 Peter Griffin Peter Griffin is the main protagonist and titular character of the American animated sitcom Family Guy.

Seriously? Princess Peach is worse than this annoying, idiotic, abusive, jerk? Brian is just rude, this guy literally abuses his innocent daughter, get off of the site Lion King hater, and WHY ARE BABY SHOW CHARACTERS BEFORE PETER GRIFFIN?
