Top 10 Worst Animators of All Time

The Top Ten
1 Ben Jones

I can't think of one good thing he's produced. The Problem Solverz is godawful, scratch that, IRREDEMABLE, and Stone Quackers is irritating and tedious. Glad he's at #1.

This is honestly the only item I agree with. At least he is at the top.

I hated the Problem Solverz even when I was 7 or 8.

Yes, the same guy who made the Problem Solverz and Stone Quackers.

2 Jimmy ScreamerClauz

He made Where the Dead Go to Die and When Black Birds Fly!

This needs to be 1# and be locked in a asylum

3 Sam Singer

Responsible for poorly-written and animated shows like Paddy the Pelican or Bucky and Pepito. The cartoons had next to no budget, the former show was a bunch of pencil sketches submitted as finished cartoons, and the latter was full of negative Mexican stereotypes. And the voice acting was pretty bad.

He's so bad that critics call him the "Ed Wood of animation".

He should be number #1.

4 Danny Antonucci Daniel Edward "Danny" Antonucci is a Canadian animator, director, producer, and writer. He is known for creating the Cartoon Network animated comedy series Ed, Edd n Eddy. He also created Lupo the Butcher, Cartoon Sushi, and The Brothers Grunt.

Really? He's on here? All because of Brothers Grunt? You guys gave me a reason why I shouldn't take you seriously.

I'm glad he's here. None of his cartoons were any good. EEnE in particular is the definition of overrated.

Are we going to forget that he gave us The Brothers Grunt?

If only the Brothers Grunt never existed.

5 Chris Savino Christopher Mason "Chris" Savino (born October 2, 1971 in Royal Oak, Michigan) is an American animator, writer, producer, director, and storyboard artist. He is best known as the creator of The Loud House on Nickelodeon.

Thank goodness, Nickelodeon finally had the nerve to fire him! Yes, I know, it was because he sexually harassed female co-workers, but I also wish that this was also because of what he did to the 2010s for animated shows! I'd imagine if Cartoon Network fired him after what he did with Dexter's Laboratory and the Powerpuff Girls.

Now that he's been fired, I am going to be so happy that the Loud House is going to improve without him.

He ruined Dexter's Laboratory and the Powerpuff Girls, so he deserved to be suspended from his own show.

Are we going to forget the fact that HE was responsible for the seasonal rot era of Dexter's Laboratory and the Powerpuff Girls?! Yeah, he's worse than Paul Tibbitt. Also, he created the Loud House, which is just as awful as what he did to Dexter's Laboratory and the Powerpuff Girls.

Am I the only one who actually likes the later episodes of The Powerpuff Girls? I love both the old and new episodes, not counting the reboot. Even though I wish the later episodes had more blood to them, I liked the later episodes, they are enjoyable.

You thought Seth MacFarlane was bad? THIS GUY needs to return to whatever asylum let him slip out through the sanitary sewer.

6 Steve Borst
7 Noah Z. Jones

Why does this guy need to create three shows?

8 Peter Browngardt Peter "Pete" Browngardt is an American animator, writer, voice actor, and producer, who is best known for being the creator of Cartoon Network's Uncle Grandpa, in which he also voices the title character and its early spin-off Secret Mountain Fort Awesome.

This dude created Secret Mountain Fort Awesome? Then he should be number 1 then, that is the worst cartoon I have ever seen. I voted for the creator of The Problem Solverz, but Peter is even worse.

The Problem Solverz, Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, and Uncle Grandpa. Otherwise known as the Trashy Three. I loathe the creators of these three abominations.

Uncle Grandpa was pretty bad to begin with, but Secret Mountain Fort Awesome shouldn't even have been green-lit.

At least Uncle Grandpa got good in season 3

9 Todd Kauffman

I know he can make a good cartoon, but Sidekick and Grojband were god awful!

I love him because he made the best Canadian cartoon ever.

10 Seth MacFarlane Seth Woodbury MacFarlane is an American television producer, filmmaker, actor, and singer, working primarily in animation and comedy, as well as live-action and other genres.

Thank god he's number 4. I never got what people (especially in the animation industry) see in this guy. This guy's just an overrated hack who made some of the most overrated adult cartoons in history.

What did he ever do? His cartoons were actually amazing (aside from the Cleveland Show, which was unnecessary and was responsible for King of the Hill getting cancelled).

He "needs to return" to whatever asylum let him slip out through the sanitary sewer.

He needs to return to Cartoon Network.

The Contenders
11 David Feiss

His art is very interesting. But why do his two shows need to rely on toilet humor?

Cow and Chicken, enough said.

12 Scott Fellows

He was decent on the Fairly OddParents, but Johnny Test was a pretty bad show.

He's awful at Canadian cartoons.

13 John Kricfalusi Michael John Kricfalusi /ˌkrɪsfəˈluːsi/, better known as John K., is a Canadian animator, voice actor, producer, writer, and director best known for creating The Ren & Stimpy Show and founding the animation company Spümcø.

Why is he her--Oh wait, I know why. Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon*.

EVEN HE admits that he was forced by Spike T.V. to make it very raunchy.

Too bad he is such a jerk to his own fans!

He all know why he's here. Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon. Dear God, let the man do what he wants. Don't force him!

Oh how this man fell from grace... What a jerk.

Do we forgive you for making R&S APC?
Yes, we do.

Do we forgive for preying on underage girls?
No, we do not forgive you for that.

14 Eric Robles

He brought about the downfall of Nick with Fanboy and Chum Chum

He worked on the masterpiece Billy and Mandy and then made.. that.

15 Ryan Quincy

I never liked Out There on IFC, and I'm sure as hell, I'm not gonna like watching Future-Worm!

Out There ain't that bad.

16 Craig McCracken Craig McCracken is an American animator, director and producer. He is best known for creating the Emmy-winning animated series The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends for Cartoon Network, as well as writing and storyboarding for Oscar's Oasis and Dexter's Laboratory in Kids' WB. His newest series, Wander Over Yonder, premiered on Disney Channel on August 16, 2013. He has been married to fellow animator Lauren Faust since 2004.

Why is this guy here? He created the Powerpuff Girls, Wander Over Yonder, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

What did he ever make that was bad (aside from Wander over Yonder, which is still more mediocre than actually bad)?

17 Walt Disney Walter Elias Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) was an American animator, film producer and entrepreneur. A pioneer of the American animation industry, he introduced several developments in the production of cartoons. As a film producer, he holds the record for most Academy Awards earned and nominations by an individual, having won 22 Oscars from 59 nominations. He was presented with two Golden Globe Special Achievement Awards and an Emmy Award, among other honors. Several of his films are included in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress. Disney was the first person to be nominated for Academy Awards in six different categories, a record he shares with Alfonso Cuaron ...read more.

Those rumors about him being racist and/or an anti-semite are FALSE.

18 Ralph Bakshi
19 Nick Jennings

At least Savino keeped the PPG alive and his episodes were actually great, though not as great as it was with Craig McCracken. Nick Jennings and Bob Boyle created one of the worst reboots of all time, the PPG reboot.

20 C.H. Greenblatt Carl Harvey "C. H." Greenblatt is an American cartoon screenwriter, producer, and storyboard artist. He has worked on the hit TV series SpongeBob SquarePants, and on the Cartoon Network's series The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Evil Con Carne. He is best known as the creator of Chowder, as well as Harvey Beaks.

Chowder wasn't good, but Harvey Beaks was a great cartoon!

Am I the only one who HATES this guy?!

21 Paul Tibbitt Paul Harrison Tibbitt is an American animator, television producer, writer, storyboard artist, songwriter, and voice actor, best known for working on the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants.

No, Casey Alexander did.

He ruined SpongeBob.

22 Butch Hartman Elmer Earl Hartman IV, better known as Butch Hartman, is an American animator, writer, director, producer, illustrator and actor, best known for creating the Nickelodeon shows The Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom, T.U.F.F. Puppy, and Bunsen Is a Beast.

Most of his shows were good to begin, but FOP got a lot worse, while Bunsen is a Beast was never good to begin with.

23 Arlene Klasky

I just hate Klasky Csupo's productions, except for Aaahh! Real Monsters and Duckman.

24 Jaiden Animations

Evil and greedy.

25 J. G. Quintel

Dude, J.G. Is a super chill dude and while I don't watch Regular Show, his short films were hilarious, his interviews are funny, and he's obviously really talented. Or maybe now I'm defending him because I'm starting to see that animation is really difficult and that anyone willing to work their lives on this craft well enough to be successful or have a hit show has to be both crazy and awesome.

@SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy Wow..just wow. Hating the show (that most people like) is one thing, but wishing for the creator to quit his job because of it? You seriously act like the world revolves around you. Nostalgiatards like you need to stop living in the past and grow up.
