Top 10 Worst Arguments to Not Strengthen Gun Laws in the United States
The 2nd Amendment gives us the right to bear arms. If you want to have a gun you should have the ability to get one. I am totally for stronger regulations and better training, but an outright ban of guns would be against the tenets of our society since the beginning of America.
If you're just gonna mindlessly stand behind an outdated constitution because it's "so patriotic", I can't take you seriously. Sure the constitution was modern for its time, but that was like..., in the 1780s. We're living in the 21st century, and things have changed, and we should know better. The United States is not a perfect country with perfect amandments
Also the second amendment specifically mentions arms in reference to militia forces so as long as they can still own guns the second amendment hasn't technically been breached.
What they completely miss is that guns make it easier for people to kill people. All it takes is a single flick and a bullet, faster than the speed of sound, is launched at a rate it can penetrate nearly everything. Gun people are so skilled shooters yet they completely miss the point
Gun's don't kill people, people with guns kill people.
I really don't need to say anything about this, do I?
The fact that this is the case only proves that guns need to be more regulated. If guns are more regulated or banned, that means mentally ill people will have a harder time buying them. This argument contradicts itself.
I think there does need to be stronger background checks, especially for mental health.
This argument is so cherry-picked that it hurts. Yes, some countries with gun regulations have higher crime, but those are countries like Brazil or Somalia where there's civil unrest and/or a completely different culture. If you compare it to more equal countries like those in Europe with somewhat similar culture, you'll see that Europe is faring MUCH better. The only countries with a higher crime rate than the US in Europe are Russia and Ukraine, and no, it's not because they banned guns.

Keep living in fantasies, gunners...
No, but it will make killing people more difficult. Less shootings, etc.
There's a clear difference between real life and fiction. When you gun down a person in real life, they don't immediately fall unconsciouss. It can take minutes for the wounded to die.
No one ever said no one were allowed to have guns. Officials obviously need them. But Brad Jones and his doritos in his basement in the depths of Alabama? No, thank you.
